i seem to have misunderstood

I previously had left an incredibly positive review. But in practice, the results were not what I expected. I kept toying around with it; to the point of infuriation, trying to understand why i couldnt get it right. But I think I finally figured it out. This seems to be an app that allows you to offset an audio file to a video file. Thats it. I have, no idea why anyone would need an app for that. You can do that in any video editor, even imovie. I thought by "synchronize" they meant tempo synchronize. I am very disappointed.

I am without words

The task is simple. The tale is as old as time. You want an entertaining visual to put your song on, because the youtube audience has a significantly higher likelihood ton watch/listen. So you see the infinite hoard of publicly available footage from various parties, clubs, raves, exercise videos, and you notice "hey; these are all already synchronized to a static tempo, as they were dancing to an actual song. If i get one where theyre dancing to a track that has the same BPM as my song, and I simply swap the audio, I instantly have a fantastic visual for this song". Well this is a classic thing to do. Open your desktop or laptop, and download a few very basic open source softwares, and with some basic fine tuning, you have your end result! BUT, wait, what if you are in the unfortunate position of being limited to mobile devices? Should be a workaround right? Well, you may actually be surprised at the severe lack of then. But today I found the missing link, that was this app. This is a game changer for me.

Great!

This app is so crucial if you film dance videos as it makes your work way easier. That being said, it will eat up your storage fast as even if you delete the projects and clear the cache, it acts like it doesn’t to your phone storage. So after a few videos the app takes up more space. Have to delete the app and redownload in order to clear out the space. Hopefully this will get resolved soon!

Full of surprises

So smooth to use…. super easy to sync my music to the video. It took some fiddling to get the audio to fade between the original and the mp3, but after 20 minutes I had it just right. Went to save the result and suddenly surprised with the requirement to create an account. I did, and the entire work I did vanished. Had it not vanished, I suppose they would have surprised me by deciding only then to tell me that the free app is not free, but I’ll never know.

I understand your frustration with losing your work after creating an account - that definitely wasn't supposed to happen and sounds like a bug on our end. I sincerely apologize for that experience. Just to clarify how the app is intended to work: the videos are actually free to create and download. You would only get a small watermark added to your exported video, but there's no charge for using the core features. The account creation shouldn't have caused your project to disappear, and I can see how that would be incredibly frustrating after spending 20 minutes getting your audio right. We'll investigate this issue to make sure it doesn't happen to other users. If you're willing to give it another try, your work should save properly through the account creation process. Again, I apologize for the poor experience - that's definitely not the smooth workflow we aim for. Anyway, the app is intended to use mostly automatical with no input from the user, so maybe give it another try with a different video. Thank you, Costi
