Top!
Super application pour débuter dans l’apprentissage, ce qui aurait été bien ça aurait été d’avoir des mot histoire de pouvoir s’entraîner sur ce que l’on apprends. BaarakAllah u fik
Outstanding app for learning Arabic script
Linking the exact sound to the glyph, giving examples of the isolated glyph, but also initial forms with following vowels, and audio for every example. this really help me link the written form to the sounds, ready to decipher syllables, then words. Especially helpful is the graphic showing the order direction in which to write the letter – not obvious if you’re used to writing left to write in Roman script.
this is an excellent app, great value for the price.

Great app
Only suggestion for improvement I have would be practice writing by drawing on the screen. Very well done!
Full of bugs
Got the paid version but still could not get full access. Bad.

We are sorry you encountered an issue with Abjapp. Can you send an email to help@abjapp.app with a description of the problem, so we can find ways to help you?
Great tool, room for improvement
I enjoyed using this app to learn Arabic script. It’s great that it teaches each letter as it would appear in any of the 4 positions in the word. This is more of a reading app where you learn to recognize the written letters. There is no writing component to trace with your iPencil. So you will want to practice writing with another app, or with paper. But the quizzes on here are great for memorization. The app would also be better if it worked natively on iPad. I never use these kinds of apps on a phone.

Abjad
Really helpful in learning to read in Arabic. Simple, well designed.
Perfect
Really great starting point for learning and memorising the arabic characters and sounds.
Bug
It was all good until I finished ث. The app crashed and then I was no longer able to continue learning. It would be nice if you could fix it please...

Hello, I’m sorry you encountered a problem with Abjapp. Would you be able to send a quick email to feedback@abjapp.com so we could help you solve this issue?
Great learning companion
I don’t really do reviews, but I’m making an exception for this app; it’s a simple, quick way to practice the abjad. I’m learning Arabic with a combination of other apps and books, and this is a great companion to help with reading which has made the rest so much easier to pick up.
Beautiful & outstanding app
My favorite app ever on learning (or practicing) the Arabic alphabet. So well done and thought through. Thank you so much.
Great app!
This is an excellent app for learning the Arabic alphabet quickly! It also teaches you the different written forms of the letters. Go at your own pass. Practice quizzes really help, especially if your a flash card type learner.
highly recommend!
I actually learned my alphabet from this app. I highly recommend this app especially on the go. I’ve begin reading arabic words, next is memorization and grammar.
Great app
I’ve used a number of apps previously to learn the Arabic alphabet but this one is by far the most user friendly and consists of effective ‘knowledge tests’ to practice what you’ve learnt. Highly recommend to all beginners or new converts Alhumdulillah!
The best, most comprehensive Arabic alphabet app
This is by far the best, most comprehensive, easy-to-follow app of its kind on the market, and I have sampled ALL of them. Most simply present ONLY the isolated form of the letter and how to draw it. Some include that, plus pronunciation sound buttons. I found one that does all that, includes words and corresponding pictures and fun knowledge check games. That one used to be my favorite Arabic alphabet app until I found THIS ONE!
This app is the only one that presents the learner with many of the components mentioned above AND the initial, medial and end letter forms in an engaging manner. This is the only app that I found to include: a clear, concise introduction about the app, long vowels, isolated consonants, letter forms, short vowels and diacritics, and special characters. Each section includes its own brief, concise intro as well. As I have been trying to learn the Arabic alphabet, I find all of this to be critical content and features.
In addition, its clean interface is uncluttered and simple, yet visually appealing. The lessons menu is perfectly organized and provides many visual cues to enhance the learning experience. Each lesson provides a brief explanation of the 'rule' and then demonstrates how the letter is formed according to each rule. It would be great if the app developer would add sound (that is, provide audible correct pronunciation of each letter, rather than the just the phonetic spelling of the sound). Leveraging as many senses as possible only increases ways one can anchor this new knowledge.
I also loved the knowledge checks! After every 3 (or so) lessons, the learner is presented with a knowledge check which, if successfully completed, unlocks the next few lessons. This was really fun! The knowledge checks are timed using a non-intrusive 'time bar'. I didn't notice it at first, so I timed out on one item. This caused me to notice it, and it increased the competitiveness in me! I was NOT going to time out again! :-) The cool thing is that timer is not just fun, but instructive bc if you can't confidently recognize the letter rather quickly, then you really need to study it again, which the app allows.
Besides including a listening component to the letter recognition lessons to reinforce that one is pairing the right sound with the correct character, I'd like to see additional lessons and knowledge checks with increasing complexity. Ultimately, one is using this app to reach the goal of being able to read Arabic words and prose.
It would also be cool if the learner could establish a profile so that all of the performance data can be tracked over time. As it is, one would have to manually record the performance feedback outside the app in order to repeat all the lessons and knowledge checks; otherwise, the data is simply lost when the lessons are repeated. Repeating the lessons, by the way, can only really be accomplished by completely erasing all the data and starting from scratch. (One could 'eyeball' review, but the knowledge checks cannot be accessed again in this way.) These developers were smart to add the option to erase AND to caution learners about what erasing really accomplishes. This helps a learner decide if that's what's really desired/intended.
I cannot wait for what's next! This is the best Arabic alphabet app EVER! Bravo!
(By the way, I am NOT a paid reviewer, nor was I compensated in any way for this review. After sampling the app, I paid for the full version. I am a lifelong learner, educator, and researcher who has the goal of learning to speak, read and write in Arabic.)

Arabic letters
Very well done, the only thing i would like to have the choice to practice a group of letter even when I did all the programm.
Great Little App for Learning the Arabic Writing System
This app presents the Arabic alphabet in a clear and sequential order with audio for the names of letters and the sounds they make. It quizzes the learner after each set of letters is presented, which helps with memorisation. Very well designed app!
Best app there is....don't waste your money on the rest!
I downloaded lots of apps (and paid/ wasted money on apps that didn't even work!) this app is by far the best ...and by a long shot. This app will get you to where you want to be with with your Arabic alphabet. Thank you to all you who created it!
