This app is great, but
This app does everything I could ask for it to do, however there is a bug that makes you unable to delete a site from being blocked or change the block after it has already been added. It just causes the whole app to crash to Home Screen. I guess this does keep you from unblocking things for your self that you are trying to stop using. But it would be preferable if the app still functioned properly. I will change this review if this gets updated.

Really good app
This does the job. Its not cluttered or full of annoying features. It just does one thing really well, blocks distracting websites and makes it difficult to unblock them. Perfect for breaking the habit of endlessly scrolling on instagram. š
Pretty great, maybe almost perfect
Pros: Minimalist interface with lots of room for configuration.
Cons (minor IMO, some easy fixes for dev tho):
- Works via Xcode, which means you need to type a \ before special characters (e.g. facebook\.com). For some reason, this appās keyboard doesnāt have a ā\ā key. To manually type an address, I have to write it in āNotesā and copy it over.
- The first several times I launched it, it immediately came up with a full screen page asking me to enable it in Safari extensions when I already had. I almost thought I couldnāt use the app - turns out you can swipe down on that full screen page and get into the app. After quitting safari and a:b twice, it seemed to go away
- After putting in a website in correct format, there was a delay before that website was actually blocked. Not sure what triggered it finally. I thought app was broken and even downloaded a different app (Ochi), set it up, then realized this was working. I prefer this to Ochi, for now, due to its minimalist approach and minimal bloat.
- Also, I guess for sake of completion maybe this app is hard for non-technical people to use because software things like ā\ā before special characters may not be common knowledge ?? Idk, doubt anyone is reading this but figured Iād say it.

Very quick and easy
This feels like it could be part of Safari itās been integrated so well. Itās unfortunate the technical name is probably why more people donāt buy it. My only gripe is the text gets truncated for some reason with larger text size. I could still figure out what it meant but that needs a little more spit and polish.

Wonderful and simple website blocker
This app does a wonderful job at blocking distracting websites. The ability to add new urls from Safariās share menu is an excellent feature that really helps build a list of sites to block quickly.
The only thing that this app needs is an import and export feature. Not everyone uses the cloud sync feature.

Awful destructive action system
Really canāt stand that destructive action prevention system. No prompt before enabling it and now I have to enter at 24 char hexi code to disable it again. No reason to make it such a massive string and not good UX
Best of its kind
By far the simplest and most effective ādistracting siteā blocker, so long as youāre comfortable with regular expressions.
I only wish the author updated the app to use the latest iOS SDK so that the UI isnāt stretched and blurry on newer iPhones š

simple app that does what itās supposed to with no subscriptions and no frills. helps me keep off instagram etc when i should be working/enjoying life. thanks for making this straightforward!
Wish it had the option of longer strings!
This app has a cool feature where You can set it so that you have to type in a string of random numbers before you can access the website. I think this is a really cool idea, but I wish I was an option to increase the length of the randomās trying to say, 500 digits, to make it a real dissuasion from visiting my favorite dish rafting websites like Reddit or Instagram

Does exactly what it says
Wanted to stop constantly checking the news on my phone. Typed in the websites. Boom. It blocked them. Works perfectly for my needs.

The app only blocks specific sites that I can manage. It helps me stay focused- since even after I deleted the apps, I kept checking my social media on safari instead. This completely blocks me from doing that. Also the long code you have to type in to unblock the site, stops you from even bothering to continue haha. Clever!

The only tool thatās stopped my distracted phone habits. Unlike iOS App Limits, you canāt cheat your limits with a password. My productivity and peace of mind have radically improved.

Blocks URLs, and unlike screen time doesnāt offer to immediately unblock them. The Share menu blocker is vital too. For the side of me thatās looking for distraction and which Iām trying to keep in check, itās been a revelation.
Exactly what I wanted!
This app, unlike other āblockingā apps, allows you to drill down to specific web pages to block those without affecting the rest of the site. Perfect for if I want to isolate only certain parts of a site without having to block off the whole thing. I love it! It also has a video demonstration for how to use the app to generate the URL you want to block instead of copy-pasting and escaping all the special characters manually. Itās great!
