Would like to see the ability to create Lists. That way I can separate my spirits by type and blends.

Now that this switched over from Whisky Suggest, I can’t even sign in. Get nothing but error messages. I’ve lost months and months of inventorying my collection. Not happy

New owners
It’s a great idea! If the new owners can continue to develop and make this app as cool as untapped but for whiskey they will have the best app out there!
Paused indefinitely. No more whiskies will be added
Downloaded app after Whiskey Advocate suggested it (article from 2018 but updated in 2020). Signed up for emails. Then was allowed to peruse site. Immediately saw a statement that all work is “paused” on site and no new updates or whiskey additions will occur. No time frame given but sounds like no plan to update ever. So I uninstalled app and tried to unsubscribe from the four sets of emails I had signed up for. The unsubscribe button did not work. Actually, it wasn’t even a button, just large text with no further information.
This was the best option in that article, too bad it is defunct. But really annoyed that I went through the set up only to learn that the site is at a standstill. The site status should be shown from the get go, to give consumers the option to back out.

Great Scotch Whisky Research App
I had be surfing the web for info on Scotch and it was wasting time and interest. This app has it all in one place. I am just beginning my journey and this app is absolutely fantastic. Try it!! 100% 👍😎
I would NOT suggest this app
At first the app worked great. It had great content and user friendly.
Now and for the last several months issues have started happening and nothing was fixed. The main issue is anytime you try to input text you can’t see what you are typing...it remains invisible. So you have no idea what you writing about the whiskey is spelled correctly or makes sense. It’s only when you save everything and submit the review or description does the text show up.
I tried a few time to contact the developer and both times the email delivery failed. So I guess they are not supporting this app anymore.

Great start
Nice options similar to other apps who want you to pay to go pro. Great inventory control. Is a little glitchy sometimes, pressing buttons and randomly popping up saying your search couldn’t find anything while you’re scrolling your search results.
One thing I would love is dark mode support for iOS. Some options can’t be seen.

Better IOS support
It could easily be a 5 star app. Needs to be easier to add Whiskies automatically to your collection without having to go through approval process. It could still be logged but with indicator stating approval. Also the lack of a desktop version or an IOS version where you can download your list is disappointing.

Best whiskey app, still room for improvement
I use it as a personal diary of whiskeys i tasted and have in my collection. I would apreciate expert reviews on the whiskeys in addition to user reviews and the distillery's tasting notes. I recommend the app.

A great app that helps me in when selecting a good whiskey to buy or just categorize my collection of whiskey. Good information to read from fellow whiskey drinkers right at your finger tips! I have encouraged my friends to use this app!
Awesome App for Whisky
Phenomenal app where you can find all including latest whisky releases across all Whisky producing countries and regions. Even better that you review ratings from others and contribute at the same time.
UI doesn’t line up on the 10Xs
Great app, has some UX issue though. Ok the 10Xs the UI doesn’t land in the correct spaces. The back button and filter buttons overlap other Apple functionality, they are too close to the top in other words. I have to tap just bellow the actual icons. Honestly it really my o my complaint for now. Keep updating!

The only app to track your whisky experience
I’ve tried a few app but this has the nicest interface for whisky tasters of all levels. There is a nice community platform and the log, search, rank, suggest and wishlist functions are wonderful.
