If preparing for ABRSM Violin exams, there are some solo pieces available, however, the vast majority are to be prepared with piano accompaniment. This app allows for students and teachers to practise along with piano accompaniment and the speed can be tailored to your need. With best wishes, ABRSM App Support

Please Restore Apple AirPlay

Please Restore Apple AirPlay (or enable some other Bluetooth or WiFi method for connecting to speakers)

We USED to love this app. No longer :( My son used it from grade 1 and now we are starting grade 7. The volume and sound quality is feeble, but we’ve always been able to enhance it by projecting it onto the WiFi speaker. The removal of this feature leaves us with a lame sound track that is barely audible while the child tries to play along. Rather defeats the purpose. Please can you fix it? Urgently? Thanks in advance.

Hi Na Katongo, Thank you for your review and feedback. It is still possible to use the app with a bluetooth speaker or an aux cable to increase the volume of the piano accompaniment. We are looking into reinstating AirPlay functionality as soon as possible. With best wishes, ABRSM App Support

No longer works with apple airplay

I have used this app for several years with my daughter who is learning the violin. It used to support apple AirPlay, so you could play the accompaniment through speakers. Some months ago this stopped, so I can only play the accompaniment on a phone or tablet, which is not as loud/easy to hear. Would be great if airplay support was re-introduced - we use it much less as a result.
General robustness also isn’t great.
Overall, it’s a very useful app to help listen to pieces and practice with piano.

Business tactics only

ABRSM Withdraws it’s speed shifter app from all platforms and introduced this new app with which we have to buy all accompaniment tracks from them to load it have no option to load a file from the storage. Their resources itself are too costly and their strategy will pull back candidates from appearing their exams.

My Apple Pay is repeatedly declined - there is no issue with my card, verified with bank- the problem is with the app

Good App but can’t share with my daughter

I bought so many tracks and I want them to be used by my daughter. I can’t share and when my daughter started using it charged me twice. I did complain but never received any answer. Support is rubbish.

Cannot receive old pieces

When I switched to iPhone, the pieces I previously bought on my Samsung phone cannot be retrieved. Have to pay again. Why there is no place for you to key in your user names!!

App doesn’t work properly

Bought in Jan 2020 and downloaded grade 1 bundle, it worked perfectly and then in March 2021 tried to download grade 3 bundle and it wouldn’t allow you to purchase anything and haven’t received any support from developer to rectify situation. Have deleted app and redownloaded cannot get original download back as it won’t allow you to restore pieces and App Store won’t forget it from downloads, so app is frustratingly rubbish.
