About

Write Bangla naturally—and keep your words on your device. Abu Sayed is a privacy-first Bangla keyboard for iPhone and iPad. Normal keyboard typing works fully offline. Your keystrokes, suggestions, learned words and typing statistics are not sent to any server. There are no ads, behavioral tracking or third-party analytics SDKs. TYPE YOUR WAY • Phonetic transliteration, Probhat and National (Jatiya) layouts • More than half a million bundled Bangla words • Offline suggestions, autocorrect and next-word prediction • On-device learning that adapts to the words and candidates you choose • Interface in Bangla and English • Themes, key sizing, number row and text shortcuts • Typing tutorial and Banglish converter PRIVACY YOU CAN VERIFY • Basic typing works without Full Access • Full Access is optional. It enables local sharing between the app and keyboard, plus the clipboard panel you open yourself • No automatic cloud sync for learned words, clipboard history or typing statistics • Learning is disabled whenever a password, one-time-code, username, email, credit-card, URL, phone or numeric field is detected • Learned data can be viewed, exported or deleted from Settings • Privacy Proof explains the keyboard’s boundaries in the app VOICE TYPING IS SEPARATE The keyboard extension does not use the microphone. Voice Typing is an optional feature in the main app. It asks for microphone and speech-recognition permission. When on-device Bangla recognition is unavailable, Apple’s speech service may process the audio. Abu Sayed operates no voice server. Named in memory of Shaheed Abu Sayed, this keyboard honors the courage to express yourself in Bangla without giving up your privacy.
