The “Connect Air Conditioner” feature is only with a subscription. So, without paying $3.99/wk or $39.99/yr there’s no way of even telling if this app will work with your AC. Although I haven’t paid for the ability to connect an AC, I’m inclined to believe the reviewer who claimed that, even after paying, the app doesn’t scan for nearby AC’s or do anything else. If the app truly is compatible with my AC, it seems the developer would want to prove that before asking for a subscription fee.

DO NOT BUY - AC needs to be on network
I’m pretty sure the creators know many ACs do don’t run off the home network and they should state in the description that this does NOT WORK unless your AC is connected to your WiFi network. You have to purchase this app before you realize that.
