Service changes should be noted when happening daily. In real time, on the app. I get alerts that disappear and takes you app once you click on it but cannot read the full alert.
***Please do something about Jackson NJ to PortAuth!! Drivers never know the scheduled stops!!
The 6:25 scheduled stops are Jackson and Monmouth.. NOT 109, and NOT PNC. This is supposed to be an express bus from monmouth.. Why every day, and every driver can decipher the schedule baffles me. Commuters are frustrated having to instruct the driver on scheduled stops. They should know this!
Worst bus company ever
Academy is the worst bus company ever. Not only have they raised there prices every year. Where other bus companies have been able to keep the same prices. They have also taken away buses from routes. There is no reasoning to their madness. How do you continue to raise prices for such terrible services?

Service Alert doesn’t work
The notification was is displayed and then gone. Check the service alert in application, no alerts. That issue has to be fixed.
Quick and easy
It was the easiest and most convenient way to purchase a bus ticket. No hassles no problems.
Needs a quality of life update
It’s entirely annoying to navigate. To view updates you need to go to “directions” or the middle button first then you can view your account and other options. Notifications to phone don’t show up in the app or at least I can’t find it. And they should have the schedule updated in the app rather than open your phone browser to pull up the PDF. Needs re working.

Bus from Wall Street to nj
Last two weeks bus from wall street along route 36 is absolutely out of schedule. It never comes at 4:23

Driver is clearly unable to handle a vehicle of this size. Repeatedly running into the shoulder area hitting curbs, poor steering control on highway, inability to maintain lanes. It’s almost like he’s unable to do 2 things at the same time. He has veered off quite a few times on 195E into the shoulder lanes where the tire ruts wale him up. (It happens everyday).
Forgets to put the bus in park when people are boarding and the bus jumps in gear! Someone in going to get hurt..

Outdated and lazy UX design, scattered information
Outdated UX forces you to spend 90 minutes on something that should've taken 10. The app expects you to know the area. You must cross reference with Google Maps, Browser (Chrome or Safari, etc), and this poorly-designed app to plan your route. Whoever approved this app for production isn't aware of what commuters need.

Bus stop
Academy should add back the Celia Cruz rest area stop, formerly known forked river rest area. They should add it back.
UX needs improvements & alerts cannot be read
This app does the job but they need to improve the user experience on a number of fronts. Reason I decided to rate low today is that I received an App alert in my iPhone about change in service and when I clicked on it it opened the App but no announcement to be found. I tried searching and nothing. How am I now suppose to read the announcement? Real poor experience.

Thank you for your input. The notification is a push notification that is not stored in the app. We are working with the developers to change this, but currently you can just view the message on your screen before you click on it.

This app doesn’t give you what you need. You can’t look up a specific route.

I love it now that Academy finally has an app. Easy to purchase tickets check schedules and to contact. Seamless app. Love it. Love Academy Bus.

Commute home from NYC Port Auth everyday, the Academy buses to Monmouth/Jackson NJ run AC on high for a nearly 2 hour commute. MY BUS IS LITERALLY 59 degrees F. Why is this so hard to understand? No one needs AC blowing on your neck at sub 60 degrees. ACADEMY MANAGEMENT! Please do something about this!!!
