Works flawlessly!!
This App FAR exceeded my expectations. Not sure what issues everyone was having but I was able to install it on the iphone4, then on my PC and it works flawlessly. I am also able to hook multiple Webcams on the same PC and switch between them remotely from my iPhone. So I now have a camera in my garage, equipment room, mud room where my dog stays in the day and main room where the front door is. No matter where I am I can always check up on the house and dog. The app also lets me listen in on the house for any abnormal noises. NOTE: You do have to adjust one setting on your router to allow operation over 3G or 4G. LOVE THIS APP!

Great
Excellent app. The motion detector features seem to be broken atm, but everything else works fantastically.
The other downer is that there doesn't seem to be a back button from the cam view so you can pick a different camera. My computer has an internal cam as well as an iSight, and I can only switch between them by restarting the app.
It's certainly a little pricey, but overall it's a great app. The fps is actually quite nice - better than what I was expecting.

Works for me**Update**
Works as advertised. I installed using a imac and it was really easy to set up. In landscape mode the menu goes away so the only way to take a snap shot is to press the power button and menu button at the same time on the iPhone. Also it laggs 4 seconds behind. Quality is good also. Very clear in a well lit room using my iMacs iSight camera.
It would be really cool to have an option to record everything and connect remotely though;)
Overall I am pleased with this app's performance and easy set up.
4 stars until a recording option comes into play:P
**Update** Whooo Now supports video recording!!! You guys are awesome!! Just push record and it records into the "aircam" folder in your documents folder (on a mac). I love this app even more!

Good app
I have had minor issues with crashing but instead of complaining about it I was figuring out what I did wrong. And the only reason it actually started crashing was because my set up was different before my hole iPhone or itouch crashed on me. Not related to air cam. But just did some minor changes then went to the website and redownload the software. I got it to work flawlessly with no more crashes.

Good Security Option
I've been running this for months now, the last update got the motion detection working. I use it with OSX & Win7 without any issues. My network is airport wireless. Great way to monitor home while away. When something moves it emails me a photo. Forget about the lite version it only works when you're at home, nice way to test it out. I have used it on 3G and edge network with some lag but it works. Wifi gets the best results. This is my most used app and for the price you can't get a better security system.

Works perfect, though not plug and play. Also, crazy awesome!
Didn't work right out the box, though doing a bit of research and configuring a few ports was all it took to get this thing running. It never fails to impress no matter who I show this to. Especially if I'm riding in a moving car on the highway. And home security is basically a peace-of-mind thing, and compared to how much work it is to set up any other type of home security, this is really really ridiculously easy.

Great Home Security App
Good App for Home Security. Downloaded free program at Sentic website to confirm my desktop (runs Mac OS 10.5.5) can work with webCam application. Bought webCam app from iTunes store. Connected Logitech QuickCam VisionPro ($129) -- also works great with iSight camera that came with desktop! Connected via 3G network -- which is somewhat unpredictable/unreliable. Has always worked via home wireless network, but 3G network connection will work only intermittently. Can't seem to figure why this is so unpredictable with 3G. Maybe a future upgrade will alleviate this. I have downgraded original 5-star rating to 3-star rating due to this unpredictable 3G issue.

Works great and great support team
When I first purchased the Air Cam I have to be honest, I was unable to get it to work properly. There was a connection issue on 3G and WiFi worked only sometimes. However, the great support team over at Senstic worked with me on my issue and provided exceptional service to resolve this issue. They have since released an update to the software which works perfectly. I have to applaud their support team for staying on top of my issue and fixing it quickly. I would definitely recommend Air Cam to others, as the video and sound work great and it loads up very quickly. Thanks again and looking forward to seeing what Senstic will bring next.

Works great! And...
I installed this today, 4/3/09, and it was easy. VERY easy. And I'm not technologically gifted either! Works great on 8 GB iPhone with the Bonjour/WiFi setting.
I walked across the street to test out the Edge network (mine obviously doesn't have 3G capabilities), and I tried, as the instructions asked, for several attempts over many minutes. No luck. I finally got to the point where it asked for my password instead of merely saying "Unable to Connect" in initial Edge attempts. However, it supposedly pulled up my cam... but all I saw was a blank screen. Then I finally got an error message that said to make sure my camera was still on at my home computer, which it was.
Please continue to update this amazing product. Not sure it's worth the $7 yet--- YET! With an improvement on the Edge network connectivity, I could see it being worth the price I paid.
Overall, great product and good explanations on set-up and information within program. Thanks!

Great app! Works as advertised!
I used the app with the built in cam on my Asus eeepc on winxp and it works flawlessly. Just follow the instructions provided and you are good to go. The wife and I are having a baby soon and after reading about the app, I wanted to test it to see if I can use this as a baby monitor. Works great even outside my own wifi. Edge is almost useless, however. Few tweaks needed: allow us to go back to the connection screen after camera has started. Allow us to end a stream without exiting the app. Maybe split or 4 way view with different cameras? I believe another app does this. Better ui once we are in camera mode. The icons don't make sense until you hit the info button, which is also hard to hit. Other than that, I am happy with the app. Worth the money but needs a few tweaks. Great app!

Not too bad
I have had this thing for a while, the updates have made it easier to use. You must use the port forwarding to view outside your home network (edge/3g) which means logging into your router. They tried to explain it but you should just write customer support or contact the manufacturer of your router for help. A bit pricy but at least I can watch my animals from work to see who chewed what. Keeps your phone from sleeping when using the app so you don't have to keep touching the screen. I would like to see multiple cameras option.

Although this app is awesome, you can't go far enough to adjust the audio and video, so work on that. Also, having such a large delay really should be fixed considering this app has incredible potential. I'm trying to make it work from different wifi networks. This app just rocks. Also for the people complaining how it doesn't work, itsays to check their website first so don't expect people to feel bad for you just because you simply wasted eight bucks.

Needs improvement
It works well on my wifi. The software on the computer end needs more options. Like setting the default camera and mic, having the option of loading when windows starts up and Also it would be nice if the software would run in the background so you don't have to have a program window open. I am looking forward to the updates.

You get what you pay for!!!
I tried at home camera something something and I hate to talk badly that's not what this is about but it was very complicated just didn't work at all. The customer service was very responsive but not much they could possibly do.
I went to air cams website and downloaded THEIR software. Now listen to me - I am an app junkie, Ive tried all kinds. This is by far the most professional program I've seen. Therfore the easiest also. I tried all the wireless flash drive apps and all that and they can be shaky but this did everything by itself asked me for password downloaded some bonjour from apple by itself and hooked my logitech cam up. I downloaded the app to ipod touch put in my password and boom.
Haven't tried remote viewing yet and it does seem if you have more than one camera you'd have to restart the app to view a different one. I only have one camera.

Works Fine Over LAN And Internet
Impressive functionality. Works over home wifi and Internet (after forwarding port 1726). I get 4-6 seconds of lag, which removes some possible uses. After you connect there is no apparent way to disconnect and choose a different server or audio/video source - you must quit the app and relaunch. The audio/video priority slider is not a fine enough adjustment - I can't quite get the audio and video in sync. After starting to view the feed the interface becomes slow and unpredictable.
Overall the interface does not feel finished and is quite clumsy. The basic functionality works well using a Mac as host, but the lag really hurts this app's possible applications. I dropped two stars for these issues. The app won't be worth $8 until it is a little more mature, so I'm waiting on updates to get my money's worth.

Set up took 3 minutes!
My wife and I are expecting our first child and for that reason we have been looking for a video monitoring system for our little one. Needless to say these systems are a bit pricey. After downloading the Air Cam software to my Macbook Pro and the app to my 1st generation iphone, which by the way took only 3 minutes to set up, I had my own video monitoring system (with sound) set and ready to go for a fraction of the cost!!! I have however noticed that there can be a bit of lag from the video feed as well as some syncing issues between the audio and video. However the syncing can be mostly worked out with a simple adjustment to the Air Cam settings and the video lag is minimal and something I can easily live with. For the price... it more than delivers! I'm totally digging this app!

WOW, I like it! Almost perfect, but...
This program was exactly what I needed! Works very well and allows me to watch my daughter while doing stuff around the house.
The developers can do one thing to make this a 5 star app and that is to allow the video to be monitored not only from the iPhone, but also from another remote computer. I would not mind paying a few more bucks to get that feature so when I'm on my iMac, I can still watch my daughter. Can you guys incorporate that? Also, since I'm on the subject of baby/security monitor, can you incorporate a wake up feature on the iPhone/iMac for when there is noise like a baby's cry or window breaking? This would really make this program the best thought out one ever!

Good start
This is a good start and it does exactly as promised. Setup is a breeze using Bonjour on local networks, but if you're familiar with how to open and forward ports, this product really shines.
There is a couple of ways this could be better: first, TWO too many taps to access a camera. There should be bookmarks for IP addresses and one tap access per camera feed. Listed along with Bookmarks to manual IP addresses should be Bonjour cameras as well. Camera feeds should be customizable initially, and optionally after; which would easily skip the two extra taps to watch the video feed. Add these without messing with the stability and you have a five star app.

Pretty Darn Good
I originally gave this app a poor review because it wasn't working properly and now it is. Don't get me wrong the Edge/3G is not to the point it needs to be and is a headache to setup but it does do what they say it will do. On Wifi it works like a gem.
Also their support is VERY helpful if you have any questions. Make sure you research as much as you can prior though. I missed one little step and it messed everything up.

Absolutely worth every penny and then some. I love this app, works on my home network and I was able to easily configure my Airport Base Station via their instructions on how to access it in my cell phone when out in the real world...its awesome to now know what my dog is doing to my cat (that evil dog). Special note: They provided quick response when I had application problems, after several troubleshooting I discovered it was a bluetooth audio pairing with my bluetooth device (an uncommon device that also works with my cell phone)... Once I removed that from the pairing, the app worked like a charm!! Kudos & thanks guys, you're awesome and so is your app.
