Great supplement

This is a great way to supplement you social studies curriculum for middles school students. I do wish you could turn on or off the symbol support, some students need it and some don't.

Love it

A great app for my older students. Pictures and content not babyish . Great stories, vocab and comprehension.

Great app!

Real stories, really adapted to students with intellectual disabilities. In addition to four adapted novels, including Diary of Anne Frank, there is vocabulary practice and comprehension practice. Prior to each book, there is a preview and an opportunity for the student to predict the main topic of the book. One wish, a small wish, is that there be separate controls for the read-aloud feature. I would like to be able to leave the read-aloud active for vocab without another trip back into settings while the student waits to have the feature turned off for independent reading.
