Insightful and Uplifting
The website has been around for many years, and the teachings found here have been influential in my life. I started learning dhamma while in my teens, 25 years ago, and it truly helped me to find myself.
The detail, authenticity, and presentation help to make the teachings sink in. Although I am not a practicing Buddhist, but a Christian, I recommend anyone seeking balance in their lives to study the principles found here and they will improve their lives.

Large collection of incredible teachings. May all gain insight and be happy!
Simply amazing
This is an incredible resource and we are fortunate to have it. The inclusion of dark mode is awesome! Many thanks
Extremely grateful for the countless Dhamma made available
I, myself, often refer back to the teachings made available by the ATI team to further my meditation practice. May these teachings benefit even more beings toward the path of Nibbana π
A mountain of merits to you
Thank you for bringing this app to us. This will help me read the Suttas when I am on my phone with ease. May the Triple Gem Bless all involved. ππ½
Great work
Thank you so much for all the Access to Insight work on the website and for making it in an app. Would be really cool if there was a βrandom Suttaβ button on the app too!
Text size isnβt working
Thank you for the response. Iβve had the app for a long time but I just canβt use it if the text is so small
Authentic Buddhism at its Core
The Dharma in this app helped me learn fluent German, obtain a 68k scholarship, and race in a track state championship against someone who went on the play for the NFL. Practicing Dhamma is work, but itβs the most fulfilling and rewarding work I found in my years on this earth.
What an amazing project to access the Dhamma.
Thank you so much for bringing together this amazing collection of Dhamma teachings. May you be showered with merit every single time someone opens this wonderful app. With metta.
Wonderful Buddhism App
As a Buddhist of the Theravada tradition, I find myself referring to this app almost daily. This is a treasure of Buddhist knowledge no matter what Buddhist tradition you follow. Five Stars !

This is a great app to spread the Buddhaβs word I would like to see an ability to highlight parts and mark them for later reading
Thank you to those involved in developing this app!
Great app with easy access to priceless teachings π

Genuine texts, essential Buddhist reading
There are a number of so-called "Buddha quotes" apps, which are mostly pithy sayings and pseudo-Buddhist-sounding, New Age pablum. There isn't necessarily annoying deeply wrong with such stuff in general, but when it claims authority by attaching the Buddha's name to it, well... That's misleading and, potentially, detrimental to one's progress on the Path. Fortunately, we have Acces to Insight, which corrects this issue in a major way. The core texts are all legitimate suttas from the Pali canon (the earliest and most authoritative record of the historical Buddha's teachings), with scholarly yet readable translations; in addition, ATI provides many more recent commentaries and texts from Thailand, the US, and other places, which are clearly identified by author and translator, so that no one will mistake them for ancient texts or proceed under false assumptions. There is, quite simply, nothing else even remotely like ATI that is both widely available and free. If you want to gain a more historical understanding of Buddhist thought and practice, with easy, on-the-go access, then ATI is your best bet, no question about it.

Happy to see this resource become an app
I've been using the Access to Insight web site for years to study the Pali Cannon. So happy to see it become an app. Not many other FREE apps that offer so many resources to study Buddhist sutras.
Very nice
This is a very nice compendium of suttas as well as study guide.
One of the few great sources
This is encyclopaedic in its sources and capacities. It has contributed enormously to my own well being and journey along the path. Thank you Bill, ATI and the team.
