I am not a bookkeeper but I do keep household books and books for my business. This is the calculator I use. The tape feature is great for back checking your work. It’s intuitive and easy to use.

I love having the tape when it comes to balancing my check book. Also planing my budget for the month. It’s so helpful. I don’t use any other app and gave my adding machine to my grandchildren to play with.
Time saver
Having a printing calculator for taxes is a huge time saver. I appreciate the version that’s more intuitive than the standard 10 button version.
2 quibbles: you can’t rename a tape without deleting it and starting again (as far as I can tell), and you can’t type 2 capital letters in a row even though the shift key is still highlighted. If I type PA it always comes back Pa. Slightly annoying.

I miss having a paper tape to check entries for mistakes. This app solves that. I wish it had simple directions on how to use it. The onscreen help is great but not enough.
