Horrible ads
I pretty much have to force quit the app repeatedly to see the weather information I want.
Also – why is AccuWeather‘s weather forecast so different from other apps for the same area, same time?

Terrible forecasting
Last night the app said 13mm of rain. And we got 5-6” of rain. Today the app said 1% change of rain tonight, now it’s saying 90% chance. I don’t understand why we used to be able to forecast the weather. Now, they can’t forecast hourly accurately
Decent Data, too glitchy to rely on
The app freezes or crashes, won’t load the radar, or won’t update location about 50% of the time. I like the app format better than others but it isn’t reliable.
No City
Tried to enter my location, San Pedro, California wasn’t in their database great app!
Ads Before Seeing Radar
This app used to be great! I’ve had it for a VERY long time. With the constant increase in ads, it has been harder to use. Today was the final straw. I go to check the weather radar because of a severe weather alert and instead of the radar, I get hit with a candy game ad. Just thirty more seconds and I can see if this tornado is going to drop down on our house. The greed is real with this one.

Constant negative news
From a weather standpoint, the app does its job. It shows the weather, and I have no complaints about that. But there is one huge problem: it constantly sends notifications that have nothing to do with the weather forecast. Instead, they are news stories, and they are always negative.
I stopped using another weather app after six or seven years for exactly the same reason. I have now used AccuWeather for about two years, and not once have I received a notification with positive news. Not once. It is always about people dying, a child suffocating in a hot car, wildfires, tornadoes killing people, extreme heat, extreme cold, or some other tragedy.
It feels like constant fear-mongering. Whether you want it or not, the app keeps pushing negativity into your mind and creating the impression that everything is terrible everywhere. People are dying from heat in the summer, from cold in the winter, and there is apparently nothing positive happening anywhere in the world.
I simply want to know the weather. I do not want my mind constantly filled with tragic and disturbing news by a weather app.

Home Safely
Get home safely with this app. We trust the accuracy during our multi-day trips to see our grand children. With the active weather radar we can adjust our drives to sit out or skirt around storms

The “RealFeel” numbers are ridiculously extreme. They believe this is better than the generally understood heat index and wind chill. I think they just want to promote fear.
The final straw was putting ads into it. Now they just delay things like going from current conditions to the hourly or daily view.
I am going back to Apple Weather it loads fast and provides almost everything on on tab. Much nicer!

I Trust AccuWeather
State of the art forecasting. Always very accurate.
Used to be Good
Before the National weather service was defunded by the Trump Administration, now you’re lucky if it doesn’t just say 50% chance of weather.
Questionable Forecasts.
I have found this app to be not much better than the free Apple Weather app. The graphics are a lot better but the forecast is pretty much the same. This app has predicted rain and / or thunderstorms for my area several times since I downloaded it and has been wrong 90% of the time. If the forecast doesn't improve I will not renew the fee for this app. I will ad , disable the notifications or you will get advertisements even though you pay to prevent ads.

Sensationalist Junk
I wish this app was about the weather, but the latest weather video was of a 65 year old man suffering horrendous injuries as a bison launched him into the air at a picnic. Pretty much what you’d expect from a company that’s more interested in clickbait than a decent weather forecast.
Negative News
The two stars come from the fact that this tells weather reasonably accurately. The rest were lost due to a consistent barrage of negative news. The developers decided to push click bait in the form of tragic news headlines designed to get an emotional response. There’s enough stress in the world, I don’t need it pushed on me by a radar app. I just wanted information, but if I turn off notifications I turn off the information I actually want.

AccuWeather live stream
AccuWeather live stream doesn’t exist, but it should. I used to watch Accu weather every day when I lived in Texas and had dIRECTV. Now I no longer do, because I no longer live in Texas, and no longer have dIRECTV .
Terrible App
Slow to load, inaccurate, abusive ad spam. This is a genuinely terrible app and I wish I would have swapped to another offering sooner. I have nothing good to say about it.
