Cops should be using this

Police officers should be shooting more than they are. most agencies only require them to shoot one time per year as per state standards. Most officers can afford to go to the range or they just don’t want to.
Officers that were unable to pass their qualifications the first time are now able to pass just while practicing this a couple of weeks up until their state exam.
He is constantly updating and putting new scenarios into the system and new features. Every person I have shown this to and let them play on it for five minutes has turned around and bought the system . If you are hesitant, just do it.

Garbage App

Got this app and membership (paid for the year) to use on Ace VR (Meta Headset) for some VR shooting between range visits. Definitely not worth it! And now I can't get my membership back! Not how to run a business!

Response from developer

Thank you for your feedback, and we're sorry the app didn't meet your expectations. As with most digital memberships, our policy does not allow refunds once access has been activated. This is outlined at the time of purchase and was applied consistently in your case. We'd love to help you get more value from your remaining membership. Please reach out to us at support@acexr.com and we'll be happy to assist with setup or any questions you have so that you can get the most out of your system.

Worth every penny!

It’s taking my shooting to a new level. I always had a hard time dry firing. It was boring. This gives me the ability to do things I can’t do at the local ranges. Shooting moving targets for one, transitions, I can’t do that at any of my ranges…

Dry fire to the max

I’ve been using the ACE Virtual Reality Shooting System for a while now, and honestly… it completely changed how I look at dry fire.

Before this, dry fire felt repetitive. You’d stand there, run a few reps, and kind of hope it was helping. With this, it actually feels like you’re training with purpose. You’re running drills, working transitions, and getting immediate feedback, so you know what you’re doing right and what needs work.

What stood out to me right away was how engaging it is. I actually look forward to training now. It pulls you in, keeps your focus, and makes you want to keep going instead of stopping after a few minutes.

The biggest difference I’ve noticed is in transitions and target acquisition. You start getting smoother and faster without really thinking about it, because you’re getting so many quality reps in. And since you can do it at home, you end up training way more consistently.

It’s also helped build confidence. Whether it’s competition shooting or just overall skill, you feel more in control and more prepared when you get to the range.

For me, it’s not a replacement for live fire, but it’s the best supplement I’ve found. It bridges that gap between dry fire and actual shooting in a way that just makes sense.

If you’re serious about getting better, this is one of those tools that actually delivers. It’s not hype—it just works.

Phenomenal Tool

Physical Training isn’t always practical. Ace VR is my daily answer.
This is a great way to learn to accommodate a red dot and competitive shooting skills. This is just the companion app, but more data always offers more advancement.

Greatness

Love Ace. When I don't have time or money to go to the actual range, Ace gets me those reps in I need. Makes dry fire drills fun and can stay on for hours

Great tool

It lacks some aspects of real dry fire like reloads and focal depth changes but for an option to do movement and stage style dry fire without set up/tear down or a dedicated dryfire room/area is fantastic. It’s also a fun toy to just enjoy recreationally.

App doesn’t work anymore

Just a blank white screen. Deleted and redownloaded multiple times. Still doesn’t work. Product itself is great.

Response from developer

Hello! It looks like this issue was fixed a while back - Can you update to the newest version of the app please?

Awesome app!!!

Please add the ability to receive push notifications from the smartphone app when your friends go online in the Ace meta quest VR app.

Also share all the stats from the “performance” section with your friends in “social” section of the app. Such as: shots fired, drills completed, average ace score, accuracy, precision, speed.

Please add the S&W M&P 2.0. And the Leupold DeltaPoint Micro red dot.

It would be awesome if there were more simultaneous multiplayer stages for up to 4 players.

Also a 360 bear charging drill would be pretty cool.

The only improvement I can think of is to add the sharing all the stats from the “performance” section with your friends in “social” section of the app. Such as: shots fired, drills completed, average ace score, accuracy, precision, speed.

Mobile app improving regularly

New features coming pretty often these days. Thanks Ace team

Worth the time

I have been using this for a few months and can certainly see marked improvements in my overall match performance. Focusing on the fundamentals is key and this has enabled me to really dial into little details that build up to better match performance.

Amazing

This is one of my favorite products of all time! If you are really serious about improving your shooting, particularly if you don’t have time to get to the range as much as you would like, this is a godsend. For competitive shooters like USPSA or Steel Challenge, it’s amazing. I shoot more than 10,000 rounds a week so just imagine how much ammo savings that equates to. Bugs are few and far between. Doesn’t replace dry firing, but greatly supplements it. Join the FB group.

New Features Regularly

If a fan of Ace VR this app is great to keep on top of your progress and connecting with friends and content in the game

Ok app

App is good when you have friends but the scores haven’t updated in over a month and that was the best part about the app.

Response from developer

Thank you for the review, we are aware of the mobile scores issue and are working on updating this. The scores should show top scores. Please reach out to us at support@acexr.com if you need anything!

Next-Level Dry Fire Companion Tool

Ace VR is an incredible platform for building real-world shooting fundamentals in a fun, immersive environment. From drawing from the holster to acquiring the red dot or aligning iron sights on the beep, it reinforces grip, trigger press, target acquisition, target transitions, and time on target through high reps—all while making it feel like a game. In just four months, I’ve logged over 130,000 virtual rounds, and the skill carryover to live fire is real.

That said, the app could use improvement—specifically in tracking scores, round counts, and showing which stages need more work. Adding those features would take this from great to outstanding.

Of course, this is only a supplement to your dry fire and manipulation training regimen—and nothing replaces live fire.

Could be better

Tons of glitching, unstable target accusation which coincides with missed targets when the red dot is exactly on the target, iPhone app hasn’t synced with meta headset to update scores in almost an entire month….its better than not having a shooting system when I don’t feel like going to the range but after the last update it’s having a TON of issues. Tried deleting apps and redownloading, no changes, much to be desired….bit still fun and applicable to a degree.

Service is Great App is Lacking

Ace itself it a great piece of technology. It works well and is a phenomenal training aide. That being said, the mobile app is buggy, has numerous blank sections, and doesn’t really give you insight into your performance. This companion app could be an amazing addition to, but at the moment only serves to give you your pairing pin effectively.
