Good app - lol premium subscription price 😂

The app is useful and has some well thought out features like customisable tags for player actions. I would like the actual notes to allow new lines - you can’t create a new line which I would normally do in electronic notes for clarity. I got the maximum of ten players’ notes on the free version and thought you know what, I’ll see how much the app is, thinking I could make a reasonable one time purchase - premium is £29.99… EVERY MONTH 😂. I actually did laugh out loud, like the app was going to somehow do a Jedi mind trick to get me to pay that much for what is essentially and note taking app.

On a serious note though, I looked at the devs website and the justification for the high prices is that the cost probably represents 1-10 BB per month of your average poker player. The idea is that you make the money back in note taking via the app because the profit you make from player information pays for itself. Unfortunately I think from a business point of view the developer has misunderstood the perception of value. There are much cheaper ways of recording information, through notepad apps, albeit not as convenient, but asking for such a high price is a bit like say to a millionaire, ‘I’m going to ask for £29.99 for this cup of coffee because the cup it’s in is a lot easier to drink from whilst you’re walking because of it’s special design - and well, you can afford it.’ There are just too many other options to justify the price so they are going to just walk away.

Anyway, nice idea. Good execution. I’ll just go back to notepad for now.
