Used to be wonderful
I have used this app for years and it was amazing. It’s very buggy now. The art tab is off. It freezes constantly, I’m having to shut it down and reopen after one or two searchs or new critters catches. Something with logging in the catalog is funky because when I search for flowers they say uncatalogued but when found through the “other” section they are catalogued.

From Great App to what the heck…
I used this app religiously for all my AC things but this app bugs out on me so bad now. I literally have to exit the app and then quit the app due to it not working.😤 I loved this app but I don’t want to keep dealing with the bugs. If they fix the bugs I’ll change my rating and give it the 5 stars it deserves. I really don’t want to start over because all of my progress is on here.😩

Really good tracker
As someone who has ADHD and who’s always wanted to keep progress of everything that I’ve done in the game. This app has really helped me. Keep track of who I’ve talked to, what I’ve donated to the museum, and has even helped me complete parts of my critterpedia by letting me know when the bugs come and what times!

Extremely Useful, But Has Bugs
I’m giving 5 stars because I’m hoping the developers will read this and fix. This app is extremely useful. Especially the “critters” section. My suggestion is to check off all the critters you have in the museum and use the critters section to help you easily sort which ones are currently available. Perhaps they could add the useful critter details and sorting to the museum section so I don’t have to check off both sections. Anyways, the glitches. Occasionally I can’t check off a critter and have to click into it in order to check it off. Also, when in a critter, I can’t go back sometimes and have to close the app and reopen. The actual meat of the app is phenomenal - never change. Just sort out the minor glitches and this app is golden.

Freezes Too Often
I wish I could rate it higher, but unfortunately it freezes so often I can barely use it anymore. Pretty frustrating as I’ve logged a lot already into this app and now I’ll have to start over on an app I can actually use. 😑
Good app and very polished
Love the app - it is very polished and has lots of great features. However after using the app for more than a few minutes when I’m viewing the details of a bug/fish, the ‘Back’ button is unresponsive and so I have to close the app and reopen to get it working again.
Unusable now
This was a great app until the update. I basically have to quit and reopen the app every time I use it because of various bugs.
New User
Yes, this is handy, searching takes more time than it should. However, it says this app was “rebuilt, better engine, etc” but the app locks up, often requiring multiple closing/reopening steps. Also, there are critters that are in game, but not in this guide. Like most stand alone guides, I didn’t expect all items to be accurate. Especially “gifts preferred”. I hope an update fixing the lock up issues is forthcoming. Thank you.

Buggy & Annoying
I used to really like this app, but since they reformatted it and plugged ads everywhere, it has been super buggy. I constantly have to restart the app because it will freeze, not let me type, or not register that I’m pressing on an item or key. I tried to deal with it, but I’m going to have to find another app and re-enter my catalog.

Love the app, but lots of small issues
I’ll start this off by saying I love this app. It’s so informative and I rarely open the wiki if I have this app. However, every time I search through some things, the app doesn’t let me hit the back button. I can be looking at fish, bugs, etc, and many times the back button won’t work anymore and I’ll have to completely close the app and restart. This happens every time I use the app and it’s making it frustrating to continue using. I’m trying to keep track of things I catch, and if I lose my place it defeats the purpose. I can be looking at catchable now list, the critterpedia itself, etc and this error of not being able to hit the back button happens all the time. Would love to see this issue fixed and change my review to 5 stars because I do really love this app. It’s just become a chore to use, and at this point I may just make a list or follow along with the wiki instead.

Obsessed
I love this app so much! So grateful to the creator for making this, and for updating it recently too! I use it every single day. It helps me stay organized and keep track of daily tasks as well as my critter catalogs and the like. I love it so much.
Now with ads!
I used to really enjoy this app and found it super useful. Now they just updated it to be littered with ads. I understand they must make money somehow but it’s not only banner ads. They added ads in the grid between critters, paintings, and items. Now instead of seeing all the fish to catch, you can see the fish plus an ad for Reddit, Temu, and Progressive! Banner ads are one things but integrating ads throughout the entire app makes this unusable.

Pretty good
The guide is helpful to keep track of things in the game. However. I’ve been noticing an annoying glitch though when I’m trying to update my inventory of items in the app. It won’t let me click on an item, so I’ll have to back out and try again (and again and again) or restart the app completely. It’s already a tedious process but this glitch makes it extra annoying and lengthens the time spent doing this.

Best Companion App for ACNH
This app is a must if you are trying to collect everything, or even if you just want a large choice of items to decorate and dress up in. If you want to complete the museum or get every nook mile achievement, you’re going to want this app
Completely Unusable Now
After the update, all of my saved data has been erased. I went to add everything back in and every page under critters, museum, and items is completely blank no matter what I try.
App reset on its own
This was a useful app until the last couple of updates. As other reviewers have stated it freezes constantly, you randomly can’t click on an item when cataloging. I had almost all itms catalogued and when I went to use the app today I was prompted to start a new island! All of my work for the last few years is gone! I deleted the app and reinstalled hoping for my island to return. Sadly it didn’t. I won’t be using this app anymore. I think they should have done better beta testing before their releases.

New version
I don’t like this new version, can I switch back to the older version? I’ve always used this app but now I’m looking for a new app to help me organize my town..
Update ruined it for me
I used to love this app so much and knew where everything was. Now everything’s changed and is very confusing. Sometimes if you click “caught” and “donated” it’ll show up as two out of how ever many total critters caught even though it’s only one thing. Same thing with art if you have a fake artwork listed as owned it’ll count it towards total art donated to the museum. It took me way too long to figure that out and kept wondering why my numbers were off. At this point it’s easier to use a pen and paper:/
