Terrible. Poor writing, bedroom scene amidst murder interviews in heroine’s house. Ludicrous.

App is a constant rediculous struggle. It doesn’t load without multiple attempts. You can’t just choose a show and it loads. When the show finally loads, 90% of the time I have to make more than 2 attempts to get an episode to load. Then, it’s back to try, try, try to watch an episode.
When I’m done with the show I’m watching, I’m canceling. I wish it was better, there are some interesting offerings.

Love Acorn TV!!
AcornTV allows me to enjoy all of my favorite shows and movies and experiences different shows from different countries that I would not otherwise seen..recommend Acorn to everyone! Love it!

Travel through the various series on Acorn
If you need a get away, subscribe to Acorn. Each of their series, especially Mysteries are in settings and places it would cost an arm and a leg to travel. Yet, if you have the time and the money, then use Acorn to have travel suggestions.
Streaming is difficult
I like the variety on Acorn and I enjoy having access to British shows. The price is reasonable compared to other streaming services BUT the casting to TV is very iffy. It’s difficult to get the casting started and then if you pause the show and try to restart it, it doesn’t always work and you have to start all over. If you’re binging a series the next episode doesn’t start automatically. After you’re done with a show the app always gives an error message about it ending unexpectedly. It’s very frustrating. I don’t have these problems with any other app.

You can't go wrong for value and quality of all the offerings from Acorn. Any streaming binger without it is missing out! Best streaming deal around!!
Can’t actually watch anything
Cant actually watch anything. I click play and nothing happens. The only thing I’m able to watch are trailers. Immediately deleted.
Former favorite
Have had for about 10 yrs. Not thrilled with newer program selections. They’re keeping up with trashier tv of today. Why we gave up on regular tv. They had (and still have some) great entertainment. Not just sex, swearing, and childish bickering. Brits had real stories and great actors. Maybe going back to books!

I’ve just renewed my subscription after a long break and nothing on the app plays at all! Did I just waste my money?
I’ve troubleshooted, deleted, reinstalled, logged out, back in, and I can’t watch anything.
I’m so disappointed. If this isn’t fixed soon, I will not be renewing my subscription again.

Acorn Lacks New Shows to stream
I cancelled my subscription in 2025 thought renewing it in 2027 there might be new content, I was sadly mistaken .

App not working
I downloaded the app for a trial and couldn’t play ANYTHING! The app just didn’t work. I tried to uninstall and install it again and the app just didn’t work. So disappointing!
Won’t play any shows or add to watchlist

Will not accept email & password
The app on iPhone iOS 26+ and on Sharp Roku smart tv will NOT accept my login. Multiple tries to no avail. Web browsers work, though… Please update your apps to keep up with ever-developing technology. Glad I signed up for monthly as will not renew until this issue is corrected.

No app is ever perfect is it, there’s a couple of small glitches - I get the odd error message and it keeps telling me I’m offline when I’m not but other than that it’s great. It’s the best app for Midsomer Murders fans 😁
