With acoust IQ pro, sound level measurements can be performed using an iPhone or iPad in combination with a Class 1 microphone. The app supports the entire measurement process—from data acquisition and metadata integration to documentation and report generation. In addition to conventional measurements, psychoacoustic measurements with live visualisation are also available. All relevant information, such as images, text and GPS data, can be captured directly during the measurement and assigned to the corresponding results. The data can then be edited, analysed and exported as a template-based report. acoust IQ pro combines the functionality of acoust IQ, which is also available from the Apple App Store, with a cloud backend. The app is designed for technically proficient users who want to carry out sound measurements easily, reliably and with minimal effort. Full functionality is only available with a subscription. Please note: A suitable external microphone is required to perform Class 1 measurements. We currently support the Microtech Gefell MV240/MKS225. For Class 2 measurements, the UMIK-2 microphone from miniDSP is supported. Since the device’s internal microphone cannot be calibrated, measurements using it are subject to limitations. Support for additional microphones will be added in future versions.
