Frustrating

Just downloaded, no place to enter a abbreviation! Although an ad wants me to “open“ it…there is no other prompt/place to enter a abbreviation.

Thank you for reaching out. You should see a search bar with a magnifying glass at the top of any page in the app. (On the homepage, the search bar also says, "Type acronym here.") Please try restarting your device, and, if that does not help, uninstalling and reinstalling the app. (Please note that you will lose any bookmarks saved to the app when you uninstall it.) You can also try updating your iOS to see if that helps. It looks like the latest version is iOS 17.2.

Not so good

Didn’t have SRED or KMS. Can’t add your own acronyms.

Not very flexible and Ad system is so annoying!

You can look up any acronym or abbreviation you know or come across - but what if your need is to find out what, if any acronyms/abbreviations may pertain to a given word?
If I type in, “abbr”, the App quickly finds, “Abbreviation” as the answer, but if I type in, “Abbreviation”, it returns, “Word not found” (but only after interrupting my train of thought with a full-screen Ad - c’mon, this could have been implemented much less obnoxiously)!
Really? You couldn’t design the App to work both ways? Am I the only person in the world that might want to know how to abbreviate a word, or to learn which words do not have a recognized abbreviation?

Keep you up to date with times

If it weren’t for this app, I’d be clueless as to half the stuff people are texting me these days. Shows I’m up with the times! You also learn about new things you never knew existed!

In this world of frustrating acronyms and abbreviations I find this app high up in my collection of must have’s for every day use - that is if one wishes to have a calm day.
