Awful Experience
Do Not Rely on This App as a Study Tool
I took time to go online to compare the material tested and the questions there are 10x harder and more complex than what they are on the app.
I went to review the questions I missed outside the app and the app showed past questions in the same simple form (i.e. they did not correlate and the questions were different but it still said I “got the answer right”). It does not help as much as you think it would for being $30...

Good content; poor performance
The actual content of the app is great. I feel cheated as it was the most expensive app i have ever downloaded and runs like one of the worst.

Please contact us directly through the app's Settings menu if you'd like to discuss any items you feel are questionable. We've found in our experience that most content concerns are often misinterpretations of the material so we're always happy to investigate and shed some light where needed. Thanks!
It’s an okay app

Hi there, our ACSM CPT app has helped thousands of students successfully prepare for and pass the exam in a convenient and affordable package. Our CPT prep content was created entirely by our team and is unique to our app. We've already contacted Quizlet, who will be removing any copyrighted Pocket Prep material from their website.
Was studying old content

Hello! We updated our CPT app to ACSM's new 2017 curriculum on January 19th. All of our existing app users got an in-app message letting them know this new content was available at no additional cost. Updating to this new content is/was optional and it sounds like you may have rejected the update. Please contact our support team if you'd like addition clarification or feel there may be a technical problem, you can do this through the Settings menu. Thanks for studying with Pocket Prep!

Exam preparation can be stressful and we work as hard as possible to relieve that stress with the convenience and portability our app provides. Our multiple-choice questions and detailed answers are incredibly beneficial and have helped thousands conquer the CPT exam, but they're not intended to be used as your only source of information. Did you read/study the ACSM's Resources for the Personal Trainer textbook as the ACSM recommends? Everything you need to know to pass their exam is in that book, which is why we reference it directly within the app. Lastly, our questions will never appear on an official exam. We cover the important subjects and topics you can expect to see on the real exam but that's as far as it goes. If you memorized our content with the expectations of seeing it on the ACSM's exam, you've done yourself (and our app) a huge disservice. From Fitness Zero to CPT Hero
This is the main mode of study for me. worth investing into.
if you truely know your stuff, like a Kinesiology major would, i recommend you use this app to finalize your knowledge before taking the exam. DO IT. YOU WONT REGRET IT.
