Top reviews

A cheap excuse for ACT test prep.

This whole “prep” program probably has a set 100 questions per category, once you finish those questions they just repeat. The math category does a very poor job of explaining how to solve the problem if you get it wrong… the exact definition of AI slop. Do better if you’re going to charge me eleven dollars a week.

Nothing like the act

The questions (especially the science and math ones) are nothing like the actual act

Response from developer

Thanks for the feedback, and sorry the practice didn’t feel ACT-like. This sounds like a content mismatch issue rather than a technical bug. We’d like to review the specific questions you saw and improve the set. Please email support@prepia.com with a brief example (no personal info), and we’ll take a closer look.

I just wish it worked

This app has a super user friendly interface and excellent set up for learning… when it actually loads, doesn’t flash dozens of error signs, and actually has correct answers. However due to the fact that it doesn’t ever load, constantly has error signs, and is riddled with false answers, it didn’t help at all

English Answers Are Weird

I got 2 questions that I chose “No change” for because the subject doesn’t match between the answers and the original question. 1 of them I had twice, the second time I knew what the answer was so I got it right.
The one I had twice was:

Choose the option that represents the best way to write the underlined sentence below.
_Never has John seen_ such an amazing collection of artwork.
A.Never has I seen
B.Never have I seen*
C.No change
D.Never do I seen

The other question was:

Choose the option that represents the best way to write the underlined sentence below.
This is my favorite quote _from Dr. Smith_ “Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice anywhere.”
A.from, Dr. King,
B.from Dr. King:*
C.No change
D.from Dr. King,

Has anyone else noticed this? This is unfair to those of us who need help with the English part of the ACT because any normal person will choose no change because the subjects should match. Other than that though, I don’t have any issues. This is the only reason my rating is so low.
This is a problem that needs to be fixed.

The * means the answer that is supposedly the correct answer.

The _ _ means that any thing within them is underlined.

Response from developer

Thanks for flagging this, and sorry for the confusion. This was a bug in a few English explanations/answer keys where the “No change” option could be misleading. We’ve fixed it in an update, so it should be good now. If you still see any odd items after updating, please email support@prepia.com.

3 days until ACT?

Yeah this didn’t help me increase my score on the ACT, the questions had little to do with the ACT…

Response from developer

Thanks for the feedback, and sorry it didn’t meet your expectations. We recently fixed an issue where some practice questions were not properly aligned with ACT-style content. Please update to the latest version and try again. If it still feels off, email us at support@prepia.com and we’ll help.
