Works as advertised
My GoPro is installed in my airplane where I can’t reach it. I use this app to turn the power on/off and start the video. A nice future update would be the ability to see what it is filming on my watch.
Wait for Hero13 controls.
Would be nice if it supported Hero13. Just wasted $5 until it does.
Great on Apple Watch Ultra

I have an Apple Watch Ultra 2 and was a bit stuck figuring out how to use this with the action button because this app is watch only. Basically I wanted to see if I could use the app with my ski gloves on, which means no fiddly screen touches.
I figured it out that by setting up a new shortcut for text “Action Control” and then adding an “open” field in the shortcut and linking that back to the text I could get the action button to open the app but that didn’t actually start the recording.
Fortunately the app developer also built in the double tap to start/stop function in the settings so once I turned that on I was good to go without touching the screen.
So now, the action button on my watch opens this app and I just double tap my fingers on the watch hand to start recording! Gotta say I’m pretty happy and this is way easier that messing around with the expensive GoPro remote.

Lost the connection and the App
First I lost the connection and tried to reset without luck. Then I removed the app from watch and now can’t re-install.

Does not work with GoPro Hero 13
The Watch App doesn’t support the GoPro Hero13. The latest version listed in the app to connect to is Hero12.

Great application for the price
This app is amazing at minimizing the need to adjust and reach for your GoPro. I used it at a music festival while propping the camera on a 16 foot pole. Having the ability to control the camera from my watch was amazing because I don’t have to do bring it down and turn it on and all that fun stuff. The displayed information is also useful to know when I need to swap batteries or keep an eye on the storage.
Seriously, this is worth the price. I’d heavily recommend it to anyone looking to minimize hassling with the camera itself if it’s stationary and you don’t want to physically push buttons.

Problème d’actualisation
Bonjour, j’ai un avis pour les développeurs, je changerai ma notation après la correction de ce bug. Quand nous allumons la caméra depuis la montre et que nous lançons l’enregistrement. Le bouton pour arrêter l’enregistrement ne peut pas être pressé car il n’arrête pas de tourner en rond pour s’actualiser, il est aussi impossible de changer de mode de passe de la photo à la vidéo ou de la vidéo à la photo quand nous avons démarré la caméra depuis la montre. Regardez de votre côté comment corriger cela. Le seul moyen que j’ai trouvé et de fermer l’application et de la relancer pour que l’actualisation se fasse. J’ai essayé avec la GoPro 13 la GoPro 11 et la GoPro 6, les trois ont le même problème.

It works very well with GPH 11 Black
I rarely write reviews of apps but this one I believe deserves one. After trying multiple other apps to control my GoPro hero 11 with my Apple Watch and being disappointed I found this app. It works really well and offers features I hoped for including battery charge, storage information and the ability to select presets. It’s responsive, intuitive and worth the £4.99. Fantastic.

Great, it does what it should. I’m using it for river surfing. It would be an absolute breeze to habe double tap initiate recording - and if there was also unique haptic feedback to that. Nice work!!
Nice GoPro controller
There are a few options out there. This was very easy to install and intuitive. I was able to start recording and add highlights with my Apple Watch Ultra.

Genau nach so einer App für die Apple Watch habe ich gesucht.
Super schnell eingerichtet und einfach zu bedienen.
Was ich mir noch wünschen würde ist eine Anzeige für die aktuelle Dauer einer Aufnehme die gerade läuft. Und das man über die Verknüpfung auf dem Apple Watch Display eine Aufnahme direkt starten kann ohne in die App zu gehen. Dann wäre es auch noch super, wenn verschiedene Verknüpfungen erstellt werden könnten für die unterschiedlichen Aufnahmen Video, Foto und Zeitraffer bzw SloMo :-)
