Terrible redesign
Did you focus on not meeting iPhone legibility and accessibility options? Like scaling text with my phone’s settings? Whiever did the redesing made good money for a worse result.
Also app needs an “autoplay videos” toggle. Should be off by default.

Terrible App
Before the app revamp, I used it a lot. Now it’s just too frustrating to use. If you get a notification of a story and click on it - the app holds you hostage for a bit to force you to stay on the initial ad and then click o. The small arrow to “continue to appear”. Then, even if it’s a text article - say a traffic update, it overrides whatever audio you are listening to and plays audio- usually to a video unrelated to the story you clicked on. Links sometimes don’t work correctly. Haven’t deleted the app only because I hope they will eventually update it again to something better (or just go back to previous version).

Your forward button on each story doesn’t work anymore. Is it just my phone? It used to work??
Too many ads to watch before getting livestream
I love action news 5 in Memphis. I love be able to view live news broadcasts since moving out of the metropolitan area. Within the last few months, the livestream drops. Also when going to the livestream there are more ads required to view before getting to view the livestream.

The new update is horrible
I loved the action news 5 app before the update and this new format is awful and hard to use most likely going to delete it!
Bad app
This is not a good app. The responsiveness on the app is slightly delayed. I’m removing this app.
Unusable
Too many ads. Lots of clickbait. There are much better ways to get local news without all the annoyance.
New Is NOT Improved
WAY TOO MANY ADS! When I click on a news story, I get multiple “sponsored” ads that are bogus. I continue to get the ads and never the news story. I also resent that the app tracks & follows my trends. Why can’t I have the option to disable those cookies? I JUST want the NEWS!
Glitchy
Every story I try to view takes me to a page full of ads and everything but the story.
Update makes the app worthless
I would give zero stars. When you click on a news story it only pulls up a page of advertisements, no news story. Revert to your older app!

You should really look into finding real advertising. These lil games and clickbait stories is BS. CANT EVEN READ THE NEWS!!! After this latest stupid update.

App forced me to download
I hate this new update. If I could give it negative stars I would. Why change something that works fine? At least offer a back date so user can go back to the old style because the new update sticks.

Not what WMC used to be
WMC used to be my go to channel but it’s become sensationalized with the only local news being negative. I’d love to see what’s going right in our great city and know in advance what’s happening so we can support our community. Unless it’s a shooting, Grizzlies or Tiger basketball, it doesn’t make headlines.
