Useful but needs more words
Worth getting, but I find it is missing some very common words like ‘Think’ and ‘love’, for example. You’ll still find yourself on google regularly. But it is still useful. Crashes occasionally, especially on my iPad.
Helpful but could be better
I love using this when working on scripts, but it gets kind of annoying that when I leave an action word it takes me all the way back the ‘A’. It’d be nice when I back out of an action word it takes me back right where I left off at.
Great app. So outdated
The app is great. It wasn’t a cheap app, if I remember correctly, but it’s so so handy. The only problem is, it’s old af!! Hasn’t been updated in 5 years?! The app bugs out every now and then. The ‘My Actions’ section doesn’t save any of ‘my actions’. It needs a fresh coat of paint for sure!!

Could and should be great
Such a great app... if it only worked. I try to save an action verb and it never saves the one I picked. Buggy buggy buggy
A bit limited
Can be very useful but is limited in which words it has. For example: to guilt, a word that would be very helpful to have some variety in does not even appear. For 13 dollars, you’re better off just buying the book.
So many bugs!
Please fix this app! It is a great concept, but there are so many issues! Mainly, saving actions doesn’t work at all. Also, the back arrow does nothing. .
Unexpectedly shuts down
The app always shutdowns unexpectedly...I would hope that an app that I paid 13 dollars for would work properly.

Great app!
Absolutely love this app and have used it for every script and acting job I have ever had. I think to improve it, it needs the definitions of words next to the synonyms because sometimes, finding the right word is difficult unless you know what you're looking for. Actioning scripts is difficult if your knowledge of words is small. Other than that, I seriously recommend.

Finally!
As a professional actor, theatre professor, monologue coach, and director I had found the book invaluable. As an avid tech head I had been awaiting this app since I bought my first iPhone and now it's here and I love it! The interface is simple in appearance and usage but that's all it needs to be. If you are an actor or an aspiring actor, do yourself and your technique a favor, get this app.

Can't scroll down...?
Great app but if the list is long I can't scroll down on the list of the words related verbs. Also when I try to favorite a word it saves the wrong one.
Excellent resource for actors but the app needs tweaking
I've had a copy of this book for a long time and it's a great one to refer to if you're stuck looking to nail the right action. Really pleased to discover the app because I'm never without my phone but often without the book. Only problem is, some of the entries aren't viewable in full, especially if there are lots of alternative linked actions. Tried scrolling, swiping, every button but to no avail which limits its usefulness. Any suggestions? Also, be good to have an iPad version and the option to change display font size on smaller/larger screens. Time for v2.0 perhaps?

Great
I couldn't find a book near me so gave the app a try. It's very easy to use and it has helped more than the standard thesaurus' I've been working with.
The only annoying thing is it doesn't let you scroll down to see all the synonyms if the list is too long. If this could be fixed 5 stars.

Useful + cheaper than the book
Really really useful! Actioning is like a secret weapon to unlocking a difficult moment in a scene, you just try different options till you find the one that helps. I used to borrow my friend's copy of the book, but the app is cheaper and you can save words etc. I use it in all my rehearsals.
Perfect for Actors everywhere!
I'm in my second year at drama school and we've just began actioning texts. I personally found it impossible until I discovered the Actors Thesaurus. This condenses all the usefulness of the book into a neat little app. Absolutely invaluable! Particularly good are the "my actions" and "emotional group" features.

Brilliant
I've been using actioning and the Actions book in rehearsals ever since I was at drama school. I love being able to have it on my phone so I can carry it about and not have to share someone else's copy when i forget to take the book to rehearsals (which I do often!!!!). Really useful to be able to save favourite action words as well. Big recommend to all actors.
