Reset Passwords
Can’t change user’s password from app. Constantly get error message saying password doesn’t meet group policy complexity rules but I know for a fact the reset password is complex. Other than that, everything else seems to work.

Since buying this app two years ago I use it everyday. Now I carry my iPad around with me wherever I go. If I student needs their password reset. I just whip out my iPad and reset it there and then without needing to log into a computer.
Restore Purchases does not work!
I had purchased the AD Assist Unlimited version on a previous device — I have upgraded my iPad to the latest from Apple, but am now locked out of the Unlimited version — Restore Purchases does not work, and I have no option to repurchase the software again on the new iPad.

Don’t buy the Unlimited
If you think it will unlock the advanced reports- and the developer website is nonfunctional. Apple, how to get a refund?

Advanced reports is a separate purchase from un-limited we agree not the best choice for naming an in-app purchase though that naming happened over a decade ago.. The website was being updated and is now fully functional.
Could have been. Very disappointed
I purchased unlimited but cannot view reports. I am disappointed that I cannot create users from this app. The app also continues to crash on me. I wish this worked like advertised but no.

You can absolutely create users from the app. just select the Add button on the main screen.
Bought Unlimited but not really unlimited
I bought the unlimited version to unlocked users that do not belong to admin group and run instant report thru the phone app. But whenever I try to run any of the instant report, it kept asking to buy the Unlimited version. I tried contacting support but can’t reach them. I just wish the unlimited version that claimed could actually works to people who bought it. 😬

No support for modern features and stuck in 2008
Dev don’t answer to simple bug fixing nor bother planning a future. Secure domain, those with integration with Azure directory can’t reset password on premise, don’t show BitLocker key, can’t manage multiple domains. They are stuck in the past. Look elsewhere.
Works great - so many features on the go!
I’ve been using the app for a few years. It works great. Wish MS had the ability to make something similar. Their admin apps don’t even have the basic features.
Works beautifully
This makes my job so much easier. I have received emergency calls from executives who were locked out of their accounts, after hours while at a bar with friends, and I am able to connect, unlock their accounts, and reset their passwords in under two minutes without even missing a conversation.
Enabling FaceID means I don’t have to fumble with our 16 random character admin password. I can answer a frantic call to unlock an account, reset a password, or disable a terminated user’s account all with one hand, while eating nachos with the other.

No update for ios14
App now crashes on iOS 14 making it totally unusable. Developers website seems down and no support options within the app. Such a shame as this is/was one of the best independent apps that didn’t rely on server side software to make it usable.

There is no monthly/yearly subscription for this app. We only have 1 time purchases that allow you to access the app functionality for life.
Do NOT give money
Purchased unlimited reports. Every time I try to click on a report I am told I need to buy it. Restore purchase does not work, when I try to buy unlimited, I am told I already bought it and to load for free. Which also doesn’t work. So, I got scammed, Paid $’s and get nothing.
Can’t reset passwords
I want to like this app, but I bought this to reset passwords and it just throws back an error to contact support. Would be worth the price if that feature worked.
Pricy
Surely the free version should at least open things like group and user properties, so you can see if it’s working and what you can do with it, before making the decision to stump up £13 for it. At least show you the info, but allow changing anything to be in the paid version.

I’m finding out that my super tech savvy ex-partner was using our home WiFi network to greatly violate my privacy. This app was already downloaded on my iPhone (but I never downloaded it), ... among other ways of seeing if they still are spying on me, is there a way to verify/deactivate their permissions over me?

Broken app
This was great but since iOS 13 this app sits at the sign in screen and won’t let me sign in on my iPhone 6S. On my friends iPhone 7 Plus the app works fine. I’ve tried the old uninstall reinstall trick multiple times.

Great App
App works great when working in the field with end users. Simple functions like unlocking an account or checking a device name really helps in tight binds. Recently I reached out the developers regarding dark mode bugs and shortly after, all resolved! Thank you.
