Disappointed
The only gauge I get is coolant temperature. This app was recommended because it supposedly will display transmission temperature which is what I needed. All is get is coolant temp so there’s obviously something wrong with the app. Pretty useless. I subscribed, thankfully there’s a 1 month free trial so I won’t lose any money. Definitely unsubscribing and deleting the app.

Only one gauge option, will not display anything besides battery
Refer to title
Keeps disconnecting ELM327 WiFi
Connection is not stable. More like a cache/variable byte size issue.
Perfect!
App works great for monitoring all of what I can’t see on my 2020 Subaru Forester Sport!
CVT Fluid Temp
This app is good for reading your CVT temp in your Subaru and a few other gauges, but it is not as in depth as the android version which includes more. It would be nice to see the same gauges that the android version has, specifically the CVTF Condition % gauge. That being said solid.
Nice app for Subaru
Using app with Vgate iCar Pro 4.0 allows me to monitor CVT temp while towing with 2019 Crosstrek.
App is very easy to use. It could use some enhancements but not deal breakers (like when setting up the screen you need to go 3 dots, edit, add the sensor. Then instead of allowing you to add another it takes you back to the main screen with the readouts. Then to add another you need to 3 dots, edit etc… not a deal breaker and your not doing that every day so it’s really only a pain once)
Only reason gave it 4 stars is lack of CarPlay. It would be great to see on car’s screen. Not sure if that is an Apple or developer limitation.

Very useful but…
I am using this app with an OBDLink MX+ and it displays the most useful information for me as I have done a transmission repair and I wanted to make sure the transmission is not overheating. Although I think 4.99 per month is too much for it, I would gladly pay a one time fee, the problem is that the app has the following problems
1) It freezes sometimes for no reason while driving and displaying the app and will not reconnect unless I disconnect the Bluetooth and reconnect it.
2) It freezes every time I switch to another app and then go back to this. At that time, just like in case #1, I have to go to Bluetooth settings, disconnect the phone from the device and then reconnect it. Then I can open the app and Connect.
These problems do not exist for the app that comes with the OBDLink MX+.
Please fix the freezing issues and then I will pay for the subscription.

Kiwi support
Still waiting on the developers reply to my previous review inquiring about Kiwi 3 Bluetooth support. The release notes from 3 years ago state that this app added support for Bluetooth LE OBD readers. Kiwi uses BLE 4.1 which IS supported by other major OBD apps for iOS. Why exclude support for this app developer?

NOT working with OBDLink MX+???
NOT working with OBDLink MX+??? Wanted to purchase as I have a 2019 Subaru Outback and like to get CVT temps. I guess we’ll never know.
Complete failure on Developers part as request for OBDLink MX+ support was requested on a review from TWO YEARS AGO!!!

Needs Kiwi 3 support
Why does this not support Kiwi 3 for iOS?
Kiwi 3 is Bluetooth 4.1 LE
Kiwi 3 is Bluetooth 4.1 LE
CVT transmission temp
The only app I have found that does my CVT transmission temperature. Subaru Outback 2023 Would be nice to be able to customise the gauges. Do that and its 5 stars. With maximums red warnings etc. But even the unpaid is very useful for me. Well done.
$14.99 was the full version before. Thats the reason I got the cheap one obd
Before this app you can use full version if you pay $14.99. Thats why weve purchased this and the developer change, i think everyone needs profit. Yes you read it right, what you specified cheap obd I bought theCHEAP OBd ELM. But before you allow us to BUY THE FULL VERSION of the app and i bought that subscription now i cant use the full version coz of the cheap obd c’mon maybe you can refund us CHEAP OBD for you but we Subscribed! Sorry was disappointed coz its been awhile I didn’t open the app and read what you wrote CHEAP OBD ELM 👍goodluck

Response from developer
You can find the information on supported adapters in the app's description on App Store
Nice job
Finally an app for both iOS and Android! Works decently well on an old android but can’t connect to my OBD2 reader on iOS that uses Bluetooth 3. I’ve been trying to diagnose a TPMS error and you give tire pressure. It looks like they are pretty close but I’m wondering 1. what equation do you use to convert to PSI/kPa? 2. Any chance to get more information from TPMS besides tire pressure?

Works well to read Crosstrek CVT temperature
This is so far the only app in IOS can read Subaru Crosstrek CVT temperature, recommended
Great app, great interface
Excellent app that does exactly what it describes. It is the only app out of many I have tried that displays my automatic transmission temperatures on my MY09 Subaru Forester.
I would really like to see the option to rename the labels on the gauges. For example, my car does not have a CVT, so I would like the option to rename that gauge to something else such as ATF (auto trans fluid). If this small feature could be implemented that would be awesome.

This app is saving my Subey from abuse
Huge thanks to the developers for making this app. I have seen that transmission oil light too many times. When I finally found this app and could read the specific readouts of the car I was able to diagnose overheating on my CVT.
Luckily a 3rd party OBD sensor from ENGIE is compatible with this app. Making use of older Bluetooth protocols. Huge kudos!!
Feature request:
Better logging of data so that I can more adequately track trips and climbs. Elevation is an important variable. Roll and Pitch of the vehicle too. I know those are not part of the the ECU however useful to understand the car.
Thanks again you are saving my CVTF/ATF from over abuse !

Does this work with a bafx wireless wifi reader for iPhone?
Customer Service
Leaving a 5 star review due to the responsive customer service. This app doesn’t work with my 2003 Forester but customer service indicated it will work on 2008 and up models.
Doesn’t work with OBDLINK MX+ or CX
Update:
Doesn’t work with one of the most popular OBD scanners
Went and bought the OBD Link CX and BAFX OBD. This app won’t connect to either device. When connecting to the CX it says it’s pairing then stops and says disconnected.
