The ads on the bottom make it impossible to navigate the app. I got a message notification from a friend, but there’s no way to read the message.
If I upload sides, the reader is expected to use his phone screen to read them? How can anyone read copy that small?
This a poor man’s WeAudition. There’s a reason that service is not free. You get what you pay for! I’m a reader on there and it’s been a game changer.
Skip this app and read through Zoom instead. Set up your phone to record the session. You’re welcome!

Must Have App for Actors
The app can be buggy and your mileage will vary with readers, but Actor Trade is the best selftape app going, and a must-have in any serious actor’s toolkit. There’s a supporting Facebook group, Rehearsal & Self-tape Partners for Actors, with with tutorials 12K+ members ready to help each read scenes. You can tape within the app, or just use it to share sides with your reader without having to exchange contact info or audition material files. You don’t even have to use the app at all if you so choose! The app is great, but the FB group is the killer feature for me.

Saving Video
I literally did a self tape video it lasted 49 mins due to multiple takes, once I finished I hit stop and it was stuck in a loop for over an hour and didn’t save. Incredibly heart broken over it. The scene was draining and now I have to redo everything
Amazing actor app!
Actor Trade app is phenomenal! You can rehearse anytime you need with actors from all over the world and earn minutes reading for actors too! The fb group for the app is called Rehearsal & Selftape Partners for Actors where you can watch 1min tutorials on how to work the app. You can rehearse or even record your selftape in the app! You can see your reader and upload your sides so there’s no exchange of numbers or email:-) It’s a phenomenal app!

PHENOMENAL
I gave this app 5 stars because it is PHENOMENAL AND FREE! 24/7! It’s unique approach is conducive, reliable and extremely effective. After a lingering illness I had to look elsewhere for rehearsing. So, I tried ACTORTRADE and found a reader and fellow actor instantly. Very sophisticated and it really really really is COMPLETELY FREE!

My docs won’t upload
This is a phenomenal idea!! Ever since WeRehearse became a paid service, I’ve been trying to get this to work, but every time I follow the directions to copy a doc to the app, the app unexpectedly quits. I can’t even really give this a rating because I’ve never been able to get it to work properly!
Amazing for rehearsals
This app is great, I’m really surprised no one’s come up with this idea until now. Amazing for rehearsing when you don’t have a scene partner. Even if you need to run monologues, you can do them in front of someone through this app. I just did that with Dylan, the guy who created it. Really hope this app takes off, it’s a huge tool for the acting community.

Great App!!
This app is a life saver! I’ve been able to learn my lines better and easier. Finding someone to run lines with me can be really difficult and Actor Trade makes it possible for me to rehearse with someone right through the app! It’s free and that’s amazing! No more having to read to myself!
