This is a great app
This app help to answer questions about the Catholic faith and the scripture
Beautiful
My new favorite AI app even if you aren’t Catholic you should try it!

I was looking to find an opening day library collection of titles for a Catholic elementary school. Acutis AI gave me
Children’s Bible and expected titles but I realized I needed to narrow my search to picture books and very early reader titles before I got to the “Summa”😉.

Very useful tool
On par with other bots, but safe. It replies in ways many will find useful in discussions of and defending the faith.
I love this AI and its mission
Acutis AI stands out because it’s built on strong Catholic values and a clear moral foundation. I appreciate how it guides people with wisdom, truth, and respect for human dignity instead of following the direction most technology is heading today. It encourages thoughtful decisions and reinforces faith, virtue, and personal responsibility in a practical way. It’s refreshing to see an AI platform that genuinely feels grounded in the Catholic moral compass.

Developer Greed
I love the idea of this app, but it is clearly for enrichment & greed of the developers. You get like one or two questions for free each day and then have to upgrade to a paid version to continue. This just seems counterintuitive to Catholic values. If you want people to be able to get true answers with Catholic principles, then make it free for them to do so. Unfortunately, it seems the developers are preying on those with a moral conscience to fulfill their own greediness.

Easy and helpful
Great app! I’ve tried out several prompts and have been pleased. Easy to use, helpful, practical.
A gift!
I love using this app. It’s not only user friendly but family friendly and it also makes me think instead of thinking for me!
Amazing Catholic AI
Acutis AI provides clear, faithful guidance rooted in the rich Catholic tradition. A truly valuable tool for anyone interested in the truth. The responses are direct and clear. Highly recommend!
Needs improvement
I strongly support the concept. However, I tried to test out this Ai model and unfortunately it only provides very simplistic answers. With more complex or layered questions, it seems unable to provide a strong, well-developed response. Its answers are very superficial. When presented with a prompt to provide solutions for dealing with complex emotions or how to navigate complex situations within a relationship… it says something extremely simplistic, like to just “trust in God’s plan.”

Has potential
I am using the free version for context. But the model seems to want to do web searches for every inquiry even for simple questions, or when asking how did you arrive at the answer, it will search “how to arrive to an answer” and then cite it. Seems like a lot of wasted tokens for the devs.
Assuming this is just a wrapper of sorts, You could instead create a knowledge base of Catholic works like Summa Theologica and have it reference that or the catechism, plus other scholarly Catholic literature.
Also the model loses context within the same conversation. When I asked “refer to my first question” it had no idea what I was referring to and I was only about 5 question into the convo.
I also noticed the model cited quite a few non catholic sites when I asked a question regarding Actus Purus.
EDIT: tried it again and used some easy to find jailbreak prompts and was able to get through their guardrails. Kids are smart they will find a way to circumvent this. I also don’t see parental controls or time limit options as they advertised on Fox News.

Wish I knew about this sooner
Acutis has been extremely helpful for me as a rising doctor and Catholic who cares deeply about ethics and societal issues. On the one hand, Acutis can help me study for everything related to science and medicine. On the other hand, it’s like having a bioethicist on speed dial who also can teach me medical Spanish!

Necessary tool
I’ve been using Acutis for a month now and there are at least two concrete benefits which I’ve seen that has improved my daily search. First, I have somewhere where I can look up a question and get an answer that is straightforward and backed in truth. Second, is that I have an AI system that has the first element to it, but also has the flexibility of asking secular questions which don’t require a moral distinction. It seems like the goal of this AI is to combine the tedious inquiries with the ability to answer some bigger and personal questions. Overall, I love the app. It has enabled me to solidify my research and many other tasks into one platform.

Must have for families
Finally! A clean and authentically Catholic AI. I use this for work; my teens use it for homework help. It works beautifully and it’s so reassuring to know my kids won’t get any awful “advice” but only trustworthy info .
My new AI!
I don’t use AI very often but I have ChatGPT to help me assist with my daughter’s math homework!! When I saw Acutis last week, I immediately downloaded and started comparing it to ChatGPT and I think Acutis is better. The explanations are more clear, more thorough, and I feel better knowing that it’s been programmed for good and won’t be giving us any nefarious answers or ‘advice’. Thank you!!

Overall review
App interface 10/10
Accuracy for Catholic answers 10/10 so why a 2 star? Because unfortunately it’s a cash grab. You only get 20 free questions a day and if you want more you have to pay 50-100 a MONTH. I mentioned this on the YouTube page giving feedback to only have my comment deleted by the Mods. They have lost my respect for that.
