Useless

The app only shows the map and articles. No info on the companies, who owns them, etc. also forces a landscape view.

Bias chart is bias

Puts cnn as analytical…seriously

Locked up my iPhone

I’m a long-time follower and fan of this service via my laptop. I have shared the Bias Chart and link in dozens of posts and DMs, especially on LinkedIn. But this app needs work. First time I used it it worked great but immediately got stuck in landscape mode without any menus. It took over the phone and I could not swipe up and exit the app. I had to do something rare on any Apple OS. I had to power of and restart my phone. I have not attempted to relaunch it since. So have only used it once. I’ve beta tested software and realize updates are always necessary. Hoping the issue is resolved and I’ll gladly update this review. (I’m running iOS 18.6.2 on an iPhone 16 Pro Max)

Excellent resource for consuming our increasingly biased media sources

In its 7th year, this resource is invaluable in helping us unpick the bias and better understand the motives behind news and commentary.

Good concept

The chart concept is great, but it could do a better job showing why the scores are what they are. App is pointless with search being limited, there are too many sources to fit on the chart at any given time. More search flexibility would allow people to search all the sources they use to show where they all land on the chart.
