Terrible

Im having a hard time getting this to work. For one, i updated and bought the 2020 edition and for some reason it will not recognize this so i have to email someone to resolve this. Second, when i click on the code, it does not go to the detailed information. I have reinstalled software and logged in and out. ADA NEEDS TO GO BACK TO PDF for digital format. Much easier to deal with.

Easy

So much easier than flipping through the book, you can use on multiple devices and the yearly fee is much cheaper than buying the book every year

Horrible

They only have like a dozen total codes. Thatโ€™s like 500 codes missing. What a lazy and half baked product.

Canโ€™t work without

I do not refer to this app everyday, but I need to look up definitions and to be current with yearly CDT code changes. I was excited when ADA CDT code app first came out. It means knowledge at my fingertips wherever I am. I am sorry to hear that someone else was offended for having to pay for a yearly subscription. Itโ€™s a few dollars and ADA gives member discount on the app, among other benefits of being an ADA member dentist. For me, this app is worth the price to pay. A live human being (or a few) has got to be behind all the amount of effort and time, making and maintaining this app. Their time need to be compensated. I only wish we have an app for this messy medical codes.

Hygienists can't use it

You have to sign in with your ADA username and password. Which means as a hygienist I can't use this app. I submit all my own charges to insurance don't you think I should have access to these codes as well through the app?

Cdt 2016

It shouldn't require login and password every time. It should have at least save the username to save some time on logging in. I can use my bank app faster than this.

Horrendous

Why is it that perhaps the most useful information that we could have as dentists requires us to pay more money? What do ADA dues even cover? This is an app that should be available to every ADA member.

Time waster

Horribly written app not worth the time to load it. Crashes, takes forever to load and forces log in each and every time it's opened.

Accessible for Administration staff

This app needs to be accessible to administration staff as the do most of the coding not the Dentist.
Need to have login besides ADA MEMBERS

Does not expand information on codes

The app would be nice except:
1. Requires login for access - not convenient when info needed quick when treating patients;
2. On iPad, all codes' description areas were non-expandable, so it was impossible to read information
3. A bit pricey for poorly designed and untested software

Crashes on Login

With the new update it will not let me login without crashing...

Crashes

After update to ios 9 it crashes

Poorly made app

Not worth the $20 price. This app should instead be complimentary to all ADA members.

App crashed permanently

ADA will not respond

Won't work

I downloaded the app on my phone and paid for it with the ADA. My phone died and now that I have redo loaded it it will not download the content. There is no contact info to get resolution as the app support tab only takes you to the ADA website where it describes the process of making codes. It was a great app when it worked.

Paid for app, now demanding more dollars

Same poor experience as others. Feel cheated.

ADA ripping off its own profession

I purchased this app in 2014. At that time it said you pay for the CDT codes app for the year purchased and could pay for updated versions as they became available or CONTINUE using the app you already purchased.

As I now open the app, which I have already purchased and own - it now states that I must pay a yearly subscription. The ADA in their attempt to provide a service to providers has instead figured they could squeeze more money out of their profession by charging a yearly subscription. THANK YOU ADA. Not only will I not purchase the subscription, I will not be renewing my ADA membership. Enjoy the money you received when I purchased the app the first time because it's the last dime you will ever get from me.

Just as I can purchase the book and retain ownership of the book the following year - I don't instead pay a fee to keep using a book that I already own!

In today's world where more publications become electronic, I don't see the logic in thinking you can charge for a publication that I have and already own. Are there updates, absolutely, and I have no problem paying for an updated version - but it's my choice!

App Requires a Paid Subscription

The app is free to download, but requires a $29.95 subscription to unlock. Without the paid subscription, the app is useless.

Nice alternative to the paper book

Nice to have a digital version. Less expensive than the book. Would be nice to have a dedicated iPad version. Wonder if there will be a discount on the updated codes from year to year.
