Nicely done but short and anticlimactic

This game is really pretty and beautifully made, but the big reveal (spoiler) where the machine just spits out a list of the hints you used is really anticlimactic and makes the whole game feel abortive. I’d love it if your choices really impacted the game in some way!

The art is so good, I’d honestly prefer to pay a few dollars more for a game that feels more complete than play an inexpensive game that feels truncated.

Very easy an d short

For me it was to easy and the game is quite short

Great game - better than The Room!!

In my opinion, this game takes the the crown from The Room. Very, very clever puzzles which are not so challenging as to be irritating but not so easy as to be just a case of putting an object in the right place. The clues are all there, and there is an excellent help system for if you get stuck. There is a great atmosphere in the study and the personality of the ‘host’ is well-developed. The way the game slowly unfolds is also very engaging. I can’t recommend this highly enough!

Wow, thank you for the praise! This means the world to us!

Good job

Short but a decent collection of puzzles. I’d guess early teens could work their way through this and have fun with the puzzles and story. For more veteran adventurers this wasn’t too hard.

Story-wise it’s rough and an overreach of scope for such a small game. Still, we should hope for sequels from this team. There a definite place for short form adventure gaming, I think.

Last Updated done as per my first evaluation. Superb app

Can not find gold nub, and updated very fast after my evaluation.
Congratulation to all how work on this game. Super !

No gold nub …..?

A bug …?

Question

Gold nub missing from mapping desk. What do I do wrong ?

Incredibly short

8ish puzzles should not cost money. The production value is fine but the puzzles were not difficult and not worth paying for. Very disappointed.

Love this Genre

Absolutely beautiful game with a captivating story line to go with the challenges of the puzzles. It did have a hint system, but I didn’t use it so I’m not sure what it entailed. Yes I wish it had been longer but I wouldn’t hesitate to pay for this quality of a game! More to come I hope!

Good but navigation problematic

Great puzzles in the Room vein, but point and click and navigation is not as intuitive - sometimes works sometimes not and sometimes works when you try the same thing a second time but without a clear rationale. Needs a bit more polish - and then would be worth paying more for! I eventually gave it up this time, but have hopes...

Too short, not worth the money

I spent $1.99 on this game and I played it for 30 min tops. Disappointed. Puzzles are good, and the set up is nice. Would expect more for what kind of work was put in. :(

Splendid

Of course this game is not very long, but I got my money's worth. Clever puzzles, an interesting story, splendid graphics and easy and precise handling! What more could you ask for for $2.29
Thanks to the team and keep up the great work!

That’s it?

It’s about four puzzles. Not levels: puzzles. Would be fine for free as a proof of concept or promo for their other projects. Nicely produced but not worth the cost.

Great game even tho short

This game has so much going for it. It’s a sophisticated 3D design with complex puzzles, beautiful artwork, and an interesting story. Everything works. I loved it. Like others I wish it were longer, and it would be lovely if there were more chapters coming (hint hint, dev 🙂). I did need some hints in places where I thought I was getting the solution wrong but it turned out that there were things I could do in the game but didn’t realize. It’s the kind of thing that if the game were longer, I’d learn how the dev’s mind worked and would learn to try more swiping, poking, trying when a puzzle wasn’t solving and I thought I had it right. But overall a really good game with creative, satisfying puzzles, even tho it’s short. Thank you, dev! More please!

Glitch

This looks like it could be a good game but I had a glitch in the first few minutes. No “gold nub” shows up on the map table.

Response from developer

I'm sorry to hear that you encountered a glitch! It seems that a previous fix for this issue was not sufficient. It would help us greatly if you can email game@sherlocked.nl with details about your device.

Excellent

Good logical puzzles; lovely graphics, and a helpful (if you need it) hint section; plus it’s so easy to move around, so what more do you need.
It’s a little short, but I take that as being a taster for bigger things to come. It’s clear that this developer is capable of that.
I’m looking forward to what they do next.
Well done Sherlocked.

Nice potential but broken.

Had to restart the game many times for bugs. Became unplayable at bookshelf puzzle. After a while, it is no longer worth trying when it becomes this frustrating.
