The Additive Free Lifestyle app has been absolutely fantastic for our family. It completely takes the guesswork out of shopping and meal planning, making it so easy to avoid hidden additives. Since using it, everyone in our house is feeling happier, healthier, and full of energy. I honestly can’t imagine going back to how we used to shop and eat. We’re also spending less!
I also highly recommend the cookbooks — they’re simple, practical, and make sticking to this lifestyle so much easier.

Low tax made easy
I’ve always been into low tox food for my family. I home cook most things and have always been interested in what certain food additives can do and whether they’re all bad etc. This is the best app I’ve seen to give instant, easy to follow feedback. I’ve also participated in the lunchbox detox program which was offered as well. The information, along with easy swaps was fabulous. I love everything this app stands for!

As a rural family from Western Queensland we have always eaten normal whole foods & cooked from scratch so being able to find inspiration from a whole collection of new recipes is great.
The most valuable things I’ve learnt have been around types of additives & their affect on us. This app is so innovative in identifying additive types & associated information, all packaged in

Incredible-Changed my life
I am a 72 year old woman who thought I was cooking healthy nutritious food. But, when I came across Jo and Tracey many years ago, I learnt so much more. Having grandchildren helped me make those changes. In particular my first grandchild was a premature baby and turned out to be Gluten intolerant. What a difference to find what Jo and Tracey were doing to help their families. So, I went back to how I grew up, fresh fruit and veg straight from the garden. No additives, preservatives or colouring. Your recipes are easy and simple and the Thermomix was a great addition to my kitchen over 10 years ago. Thanks to these sisters I found a love for cooking again. Thanks for helping so many families , you are both terrific.

Even my kids use it!
This app had helped me teach my kids about additives. My 9 year old & 7 year olds have started scanning things to see what colour smiley faces the product has and if it’s safe for them to eat. Thank you for helping me to teach my family how to be healthy.

Lowers the overwhelm and confusion!
This app has made our transition to a low-tox life so much simpler. The transition can be quite overwhelming and this app has really helped our family to make better and informed choices. It’s so easy and fast to scan a products ingredient list and know what’s in it. I didn’t understand all of the additives and their side affects, which ones are safe / safer, what should be totally avoided, but now I scan them and get to learn about them in the app! Did you know that not all additives are bad? I didn’t, until the app! Plus it has an abundance of delicious recipes, a meal plan, and now a community forum! It just keeps on getting better, an all in one stop additive free hub! I can confidently say that this app has been the biggest tool on our low-tox journey.

I absolutely love the ingredients scanner. My daughter is allergic to additives (who isn’t?) they cause her extreme behaviour problems, this app has brought peace back to my family.

Not what I thought it was
This is probably a great app, but the way it was advertised on social media made it seem you could scan the bar code of a product to get info. However in this regard it is very clunky and not user friendly.
What.a.pain!
I’m sure the content in this ap is great. I have the cookbooks and enjoy them. But the taking photos and cropping them is an absolute pain in the neck. Not practical to use at the shops while shopping with children. Or shopping ever. Or at home with curvy bottles. Or just about anything. My camera won’t focus while using the ap. Zero patience and tolerance for this ap after preserving for a few days. Blown my money here. Sticking with Yuka
