Needs Improvement
I was born and raised in Pakistan; currently live in the US. Getting Urdu books is a big logistical challenge. I learned about this app from an article in Dawn. As compared to Kindle or Apple Books, this app doesn’t seem very generous in allowing you to read “samples”; it keeps directing you to the subscription page which is very annoying when you are only trying to make sense of what the site has to offer. I wish it had an Urdu dictionary built in the app as Kindle does; and provided the option to highlight text. The collection of books is very very limited. I think the subscription fee is very reasonable but the developers must improve and increase the collection. They should start with adding the modern classics of Urdu like Udaas Naslen, Khuda Ki Basti, Aag ka darya etc.

Nothing as advertised
Keeps crashing, haven’t read a word on the app yet.
I came across this app after the founder’s interview appeared on Dawn.com. Unfortunately, none of the apps features touted in the interview (adjustable font size, dictionary integration) are available yet. The book titles are extremely difficult to read, and the app interface isn’t intuitive. Downloaded books don’t open, as the app keeps crashing. Disappointing app.

No free sample to view quality
I downloaded app, registered and wanted to check contents but could not find any free contents. Anything I clicked was asking me to upgrade to premium before I can read even first page of the book. How you expect me to pay for something when I don’t know what will be quality offered
Pricing strategy needs to be looked at!
Can’t say much about the app as it won’t let you move forward till you create an account and even after that asks for a $11.99/m subscription to do anything. These gated walls will discourage most to continue and for a dying language with limited audience pricing strategy isn’t realistic. $1.99/m might have been a better way to develop a customer base.

Amateur and needs significant improvement
So I tried it and as expected was disappointed. First of all the app is very slow. Book covers take several seconds to load and sometimes just fail to load. Even individual book pages take time to load. I must say the font is amazing. It is convenient to read. However you can not change the background color of the page. Annoying. Collection as expected is limited. I think roughly 300 or so books. The subscription model is the funniest I have seen. Single month is $11.99. A year at a time is ~ $39. Also the free version of the app does not entice much to make one want to commit to a year. There are no audio books. There are no magazines. My suggestion would be to introduce magazines and audiobooks to lure people in. Otherwise don’t expect people to pay more than a kindle unlimited price for this. I think the concept is very good but implementation is stunted and completely subpar.
