Not a bad drawing app.
I’ve been using Fresco for about… 6 months. And it has a wide variety of tools to select from. My only complaint is that it WILL NOT let me download my artworks unless I make an adobe account (why man? Ibis Paint didn’t need that)

Why are all the tools now situated along the top of the screen? I thought everything from the UI was missing, googling a bunch of different search terms only to find everything wasn’t where it should be. Why did you have to ‘fix’ something that wasn’t broken? Can we at least have the option to switch it back? :(

This app is really good for digital art, the brushs are amazing, I really love how when you put a picture online onto your canvas-they already make a colour pallet with the colours on your picture! I will say though-sometime the layers can get a bit messy. But other than that, the app is amazing for digital art!

LOVE THIS APP but…
I wish you could animate on mobile. I am able to use motion tools on my iPad but not my iPhone. If there’s a way you guys could make that happen I would be eternally grateful!
Pressing the straight line for a long time ruined all this.
The software is generally very good, But can you cancel the function of long pressing to straighten the line segment automatically or make a choice, otherwise it will be very uncomfortable in the process of painting?

Honestly after 5 years of drawing on my iPad whether I’m doing paintings, patterns or illustration I find that this is my default app now. Such high quality brushes with masses of choice. I still love my classic drawing apps but there’s something about this one that makes me keep coming back to it. On top of everything it’s free now too. Can’t lose really can you.

I’ve been looking for a good drawing app for ages instead of screenshotting a white screen and drawing with only 5 brushes and 10 colours, and I finally found a good one, no problems. Only problem (not with the app) is that now and again i need to free up 3.2 GB and I have to reinstall it, which loses all my progress (usually I screenshot my work) not begging at all! But could you make it that if you uninstall it your progress is still here?

Great app, but has really gone downhill.
I’ve been a fresco user since 2023, but it’s been such a shame to see the app become more and more slow and unable to complete basic commands. I have 20gb of free storage, yet the app works extremely slow and won’t allow me to export animations anymore, which is very disappointing as it’s been for a long term project. The quality of the files are great, but I always have to duplicate a piece to ensure the app doesn’t decide to crash out of nowhere and lose my days of effort.
If the slowness, crashing and inability to export would be fixed it would be perfect.

I’m writing again to say that I still love this app
So in my original review I was really wazzed off about the STUPID CIRCLE…😮💨…but I figured out that it’s for switching between the eraser and the brush. I still refuse to use it however because we have permanent emotional drama… just kidding… kinda… 🥲. Anyway I love this app and hate ibisPaint. Like I would strait up rather use that stupid circle than ibisPaint. Anyway one last thing I love how I can’t import pictures or copy something and paste it in adobe. if adobe was a person I like kinda might marry it lol.

Constant crashes.
More often than not, I would not be able to open a file, part of the progress of a file would be deleted, all of it would be deleted, or the app would just crash and restart. I would try to restore it via version history, but that would be reset, too. Without these issues, it would be a five star rating.
