Read carefully
Looks like a good app. But doesn’t allow route planing. Just distance in a straight line. This is not what I was looking for.
Navigation safety bug remains unfixed in latest release
Although the app has an attractive appearance and usability, it continues to suffer from the absence of a scaleable natural chart in the north-western part of Istrian, from south of Umag to all the way to the east of Koper. There the sea on the app is shown with a 10 meters depth when in reality it is at times below 2 meters. I am amazed that the developer could not fix this major bug (affecting navigation safety) two weeks after my initial reporting. I look forward to him eliminating this major safety hole in his product at his earliest convenience with a new release.
I am updating this review a month later (9/30/2017). The developer has not cared neither to fix this major sea hazard problem nor to respond to my queries. It is unbelievable how a product is out there in the market with such a serious technical flaw that affects navigation safety. The developer reports that it has added a chart download button as part of the last release. This may fix the problem. But the chart download button does not show up on the app, even after deleting and reloading it. THIS NEEDS TO BE FIXED ASAP.
