Xdate ended up being better than I expected. Honestly, I came here thinking it’d be another fake dating app, but Xdate surprised me. There are a few small bugs and it can be a little slow at times, but nothing that ruins the experience. Hope they keep improving, but it’s definitely worth a download.

The user pool is diverse, from twenty-somethings to mature singles, and nearly all profiles lay out their dating goals clearly upfront. I love the focus on genuine, direct communication. It's refreshing to use a platform where people skip the performative small talk and stay transparent about what they want.

With Room to Improve
I've been using Xdate for about a week now. It's easy to figure out, and I've had a couple of genuinely good conversations already. It does lag once in a while, and I wish there were a few more people nearby, but that's my only real complaint. Overall it's been a better experience than I expected, so I'll probably keep using it.

I like so far
I’ve been surprised by how much fun I’ve had with this app. It’s not perfect, but it’s been a better experience than I expected. The interface is straightforward, making it simple to start a conversation. I’ve already had a few nice chats. I also like that many users have multiple photos in their profiles, which gives me a better sense of who they are before I reach out. The one thing I’d like to see, is more active users nearby so I hope the Xdate community continues to grow. I’ll be checking back for more people in my area.
