Very good dictionary. Glad I have it. Quick. Smart. Love the bookmarks. Flows very smoothly. The only think I would update is the voice expression functionality, it needs clarity. Thank you !

Pronunciation of words
I am sometimes disappointed with the pronunciation of words. I listened to the word bustier after I read an article which wrote that it was pronounced boostya. In the advanced dictionary it was pronounced bus - tier sort of like 'That girl is bustier than the other girl.' In fact it is an under garment.

I have been using this app for a year and this my review about it.
I can say it’s mostly the best English dictionary app. I have another dictionaries apps are installed on my phone. Many times I do compare with them and always the winner is this app. It doesn’t only provide the meaning. It provide the word in its different phrases, what is related to, collocation, synonyms...etc
Additional, the pronunciation. I advise you to have it. You won’t regret for it.

I actually enjoy the AED, and use it exclusively, because it does what I need it to. And more! Who knew a dictionary could be so much fun? I recommend it highly.

Advanced English dictionary & Thesaurus app doesn’t require internet connection, and audio pronunciation works offline. This app has concise definition, and excellent thesaurus with word links. Its word search engine is excellent with very smart word suggestions when I don’t know how to spell the word.

Believe the description and preview, it’s all there. For all that it’s rich in features it’s not heavy to use. Quickly drill down to whichever aspect of the word or description is needed.

I like it except for two things
I like the app, but have two quibbles.
1. The x to clear the search field doesn’t contrast enough with the background.
2. I can’t find a way to copy search results.
Other than those things I am pretty happy with the app.

Very good and useful dictionary
This is an easy to use, practical tool. I couldn't do without it.
American pronunciation 'real voice'
Everything in this app is perfectly fine, but it needs a tab where we can select an accent (hopefully real voices not robots). I'd be thankful if you add this feature to the app.

Excellent Reference Source-Highly Recommended!
In that I read and write quite a bit, the use of a dictionary, thesaurus and finding proper antonyms and synonyms is a must. It is difficult to find the definitions of and use of words that are either rarely or no longer in use. The Advanced English Dictionary & Thesaurus fulfills this need in my endeavors. I most highly recommend this reference source.

Just what I needed. The pronunciations are readily available & it has lots of words my paperback dictionary doesn't.
Excellent place to start!
After reviewing several dictionaries for the usual; correct spelling, similar meaning words and origin (etymology), I purchased this one and was quickly rewarded. It's FAST, links alternative words to their pages, shows everything about a word parsed into concise statements. Start with this one before suffering ads or paying more.
