Units
Why do I have to change the units every time I open the app? I want American units permanently, not international units.
Too basic
This app needs to be more interactive with the graphics and stuff, and on the first dashboard the gps keeps getting writing across it and a box that you’re supposed to click ok but it takes the gps away. So all its really good for is scanning error codes and erasing. That’s all folks

Failed to reconize the car and many problems in all upadates, firmware update is still useless and can't searchand connect to esu
Just doesn’t work
Yet another ELM327 type device which does little more than make an LED flash. The app looks lovely, but the device doesn’t work so it’s really just a waste of iPhone storage. I hope the stupid little dongle hasn’t scrambled my car’s brains. I’ve contacted XTool for support through the app and have received no notification that they’ve received my feedback. I’m still waiting for a reply and, when they do, I’m sure they’ll blame my car. I’ve checked and rechecked everything related to the K-Line system in my completely factory standard 2004 A6 Allroad 2.5TDI and nothing is wrong except the CEL on the dash which I want to reset, following a vacuum leak which I have repaired. I just want my money back so I can spend it on an OBD2 interface which actually does what it says on the box.

No good
My check engine came on but it reads everything is good & I can’t even pull it off my car it’s hard to come off
Great product for the price, you get a lot for your money
For under £15 (for the OBD dongle that it uses) this is an amazing tool to have. Not only for diagnostics but general trip by trip analysis. For the cost this is a no brainer. Auto detected my Mercedes model and did a compressive diagnostic test. Total plug and play setup.
Could do with:
1) ways to extract the data from trips and give trips a name. This will encourage business rated users.
2) Google maps on the trip screen needs attention on iOS device.
3) I have two iOS phones, one on the latest 14.4.2 and one on 14.4.1. The app won’t let me login on the 14.4.2 phone with messages about the account not being registered. Yet, same account works fine on 14.4.1
4) would be useful to detect and log when fuel is added or filled up. Allow a field for enter per/ltr price and it would be perfect. On of the Mercedes Me app does that.

Wow it’s disappointing
This unit used to be great it worked and read and cleared codes and now it won’t even show live data of anything but battery voltage and when the check engine light is on the reader tells me there r no codes to clear and the car is 100% fine
