It’s pretty good
It’s a pretty decent game to play when you’re bored, maybe use a couple minutes while you wait for class to start, or a job interview or something.
I personally don’t really like all the extra mechanics like the micro transactions and events, it feels to me like they’re just padding to extend playtime but all in all, not a bad game.
Also contains forced ads which get a bit annoying.

I used to really enjoy Adventure Capitalist, but the forced ads have completely ruined the experience. Ads used to be optional. You could choose to watch one in exchange for boosts, tokens, or other in-game rewards, which was completely reasonable.
Now you can play for maybe 10 seconds, click to hire managers or purchase upgrades, and suddenly you’re forced to sit through an ad just to keep playing. There’s no choice and no real benefit for watching it.
I understand developers need to make money, and I never had a problem with optional ads that rewarded you for watching them. But forcing ads during basic gameplay makes the game more frustrating than enjoyable. It’s disappointing because this used to be a great game.

Bad update
I’ve played this game a LOT and I’ve spend some money on it. I enjoy getting the month long 20 gold bars a day deal to play the events they have. A few days ago I repurchase the daily gold bar deal for the events and today I start the new event. They no longer use the gold bars??? And there’s virtually no deals for the new “jewels” used in the game. It’s turned into a bad money grab at this point - very disappointing.

Too many ads!

Why?
Game used to be a ton of fun and played it a lot years ago and I don’t mind are popping up here and there since the game is free. However it seems to be riddled with ads now and I can’t play it anymore without being connected to the internet? Wish I could download the same version I had all those years ago.

Ads to open the game
I get optional boost ads but ads just to open your inventory ads just to upgrade your actual character if I can’t play the base game without ads I won’t play
Enjoyed this game but ad green just ruined it for me.
I really enjoyed advancing through this game and found the events and rewards really fun. Recently to just buy upgrades or managers I’m getting ad pop up and it makes the game completely unplayable so I’ve deleted it.
Ads, pay to level up
Open the game load into the game open managers, ad. It’s like they want you to watch an ad before you actually start playing their game. Disgusting. I am currently at level three trying to get to level four I have no other way of getting XP other than to pay real money to get a mini juicer box. That’s the only way I can level up. I can’t unlock other worlds like the moon because I have to pay real money to level up. This is one of the most cancerous games I’ve seen. I used to play this as a child, everything used to be free. The game is not good enough to justify this many ads.

I already paid for items before. How much should I pay before this game is playable again? $10 $20 $30? This is such a lazy response. There are dozens of reviews like mine. Stop being so greedy and role back the forced ads to just play the game and maybe you will get your fan base back. I don’t mind watching an ad every now and again.
Do better devs and grow a spine and stand up to monetization of every game.
I’ve watched dozens if not hundreds of ads since 2012 and spent $10 on this game and their response is spend more money or watch more ads. So hours of my life and money are not enough.
And no I will not make another monthly subscription to play a mindless game for a few minutes a night just so you can pocket some more money from anyone who is dumb enough to pay it. Ai can make this game in ten minutes with minimal work without ads.
This is so unjust I will never play a game by your company again. It’s a shame because I showed this game to a dozen friends in college in 2016.

The game is broken
The game is broken and when contacting app support all they say is a fix was put out but nothing was done even after updating, uninstalling and reinstalling you would think that would fix the issue but nope

I used to play the game and my time ago, at least then the ads didn’t seem like there were so many. You can’t even go into managers without ads half the time. I got to the end the last time and then when I down loaded it this time I had to start all over. That’s fine but with the number of ads, I just deleted it again. Takes away the fun.
