What's New in Aebly Media

1.3

August 1, 2026

The news you vote on — now with your neighborhood on the map. BEAR WITNESS, ON A REAL MAP Reports from your area land on a live map instead of a list. See what neighbors have confirmed and what is still developing, tap a pin to read the thread, and file your own from the camera button — photo or clip, taken where you are standing. AEBLY EN ESPAÑOL The whole app, not a corner of it. Every story, question and ballot, plus Spanish captions on the state video briefs. Switch in Settings. THE ARCHIVES Collections you can walk into. Every brief, series and filing on a subject in one room, with a Compendium that rewrites itself as the story grows. THE WIRE One event, assembled from the outlets covering it, with the sides laid out plainly so you can weigh them before you vote. THE PODCAST Latest episodes, on the same desk as the state briefs. LISTEN Have any story read aloud. Keeps playing with the screen off. YOUR CIVIC COMPASS Rebuilt on Home: the compass sits beside the day's lead, and your docket is organized by chapter instead of an endless scroll. ALSO IN THIS RELEASE Captions on the state briefs. Watched videos now follow your account across devices. A quieter tab bar. Faster collections. Following an anchor sticks. Cards no longer clip in Spanish. The player stops flashing on a re-watch. Comfort in your Convictions.

Best way to learn

It’s an awesome platform that makes it easy to consume news. There’s no better time to do as it’s a crucial time in America where distrust is at its peak. Here’s to the next 250 years of Americas News!

Something needed for today’s divided world

Finally, a political app that respects your intelligence — 5 stars

1- I've been using Aebly since it was just a website, and watching it evolve into this app has been genuinely exciting. This isn't another outrage-bait news app — it's actually trying to make you a more informed citizen, and it works.

2- Seeing all sides, without the spin
The core feature — reading every perspective on an issue side by side — is eye-opening in a way I didn't expect. You don't realize how much of your worldview has been shaped by only seeing one framing of a story until you're confronted with three or four all at once. It's uncomfortable in the best way.

3- The political compass
Watching your compass actually shift and take shape as you engage with real issues (not some one-time 20-question quiz) makes your own views feel less abstract and more like something you're actively building. It's the first tool I've used that made me genuinely curious about *why* I land where I land.

4- Boots-on-the-ground reporting
Having anchors and journalists reporting from each state is a standout feature — it makes national issues feel local and grounded instead of filtered through a coastal media bubble. Pairing that with a map showing exactly where each news source is reporting from adds a layer of transparency I haven't seen anywhere else. You know exactly whose eyes you're seeing the story through.

5- Design
The layout is genuinely excellent — clean, intuitive, and it makes dense political content feel approachable instead of overwhelming.

**The extras**
Found the Easter egg and went down the rabbit hole — such a fun, unexpected touch that shows real personality behind the product. And the Deep State game is hands-down my favorite feature; it's a clever, playful way to engage with civic topics that could easily feel dry elsewhere.

—Bottom line—
There's huge potential here. It's rare to find an app that's this ambitious about news literacy and this well-executed at the same time. Highly recommended — especially if you're tired of algorithms deciding which side of a story you get to see.

Fun & Interactive App

Aebly Media is the best tool to have to be politically informed. This app is educational, it keeps me hooked. It lets me see important legislations from my district and also vote on different bills on Congress to set my political compass. There are fun games like hangman and multiple choice trivia, so I can explore and learn about politics. Highly recommend this app.

Like a breath of fresh air. It’s nice to see someone cares about how we get our news in this day and age. The app is so seamless, well executed and lowkey kinda fun.

Thank you to my team.

Thank you to all the feedback everyone gave to make this better, I hope you enjoy it!
