Love the new version! Perfect for the aviation world!

Won’t Open

Purchases on 5 Dec 2021 with iOS 15.1 and the app won’t open.

Response from developer

Thank you for the report, and I'm sorry the 1.0 app left you stranded after a purchase. That version is no longer supported — we rebuilt Aero Crew News from the ground up, and version 2.0 is now live on the App Store. It's a completely new native app with current iOS support, so the launch crash you hit is gone. If you run into anything at all in 2.0, email us at info@aerocrewnews.com and we'll take care of you personally.

App doesn’t open

Had this app for a while. Now it crashes the moment I click it. Tried reinstalling and it still doesn’t work. Oh well, not missing much anyway.

Response from developer

You were right to be frustrated — the old 1.0 app broke on newer iOS versions and we didn't get it fixed fast enough. We've since rebuilt the app entirely. Version 2.0 is out now: new codebase, new design, and a lot more than the old app ever did — airline contract data, ATC delay info, pay tools, and daily aviation news. Worth another look, and if it doesn't work for you, tell us at info@aerocrewnews.com.

Scam

Paid for the app, can’t even use it because I’m not also paying for a subscription

Response from developer

That's fair criticism, and we changed it. Charging for the app and then gating the content behind a second purchase was the wrong model. Version 2.0 is a clean start: one subscription, a 7-day trial so you can see exactly what you're getting before you're billed, and no separate app purchase on top of it. Everything is disclosed up front. If you feel the old purchase wasn't honored, email info@aerocrewnews.com and we'll make it right.

Agenda pushing

Too focused on pushing their political agenda to the detriment of any kind of inkling of accuracy on any of their information.

Response from developer

Thank you for the feedback. Accuracy is the standard we hold ourselves to, and we take it seriously when a reader tells us we've missed it. Our coverage and editorial process have both changed considerably since 2019, and version 2.0 of the app is a full rebuild with expanded reporting and sourced airline contract data. If you give it another try and something reads as off, send it to info@aerocrewnews.com — we read every note.

Not about being a pilot.

It was a good magazine until they started focusing on offensive things that have nothing to do with being a pilot.

Response from developer

Thanks for taking the time to write. The 1.0 app didn't deliver what pilots actually needed day to day, and we agree. Version 2.0 is a full rebuild built around the job: airline contract and pay data, ATC delay and ground-stop info, flight and layover tools, and industry news. If it still misses the mark for you, we'd genuinely like to hear why — info@aerocrewnews.com.
