What's New in Aethyr Native

0.3.8

September 25, 2026

Aethyr 0.3.8 (build 45) What's new • Neural voice download now works on a fresh install. Go to Settings → Voice Assistant and download the on-device voice. Both files should download and finish without a "files are incomplete" error. The model is about 327 MB, so use Wi-Fi. • Secure connection upgrade. The app now connects to the Console with the new handshake (v2) and sends its device enrollment note during sign-in. You should not notice anything different, which is the point. Please test 1. Cold launch. The app should open to the login screen without crashing. 2. Sign in and open a conversation. Messages should stream normally. 3. Settings → Voice Assistant → download the neural voice. Wait for it to finish, then pick a voice. You should hear a short audition clip. 4. Send a message and let the assistant reply. It should speak with the neural voice, not the system voice. 5. Force quit and reopen. You should still be signed in and the neural voice should still be selected.
