Great Hardware – Please Add DC/Solar Charge Limits
I’ve been using the AFERIY P280 daily in my camper van for the past 6 months and overall I’m very happy with it. My biggest feature request is the ability to set a charge limit for DC and solar charging, not just AC charging. Being able to stop charging at 80%, 90%, or 95% would help extend battery life for users who keep their units connected to solar regularly.
I have also noticed that there are two different apps that work with the P280. The app recommended in the manual has slightly better graphics and a cleaner interface, but both apps feel sluggish and slow to respond.
The hardware has performed great, and I use both solar inputs and the 25A DC output daily. I’d love to see these software improvements in a future update.
