Let me start by saying, I live the app. That said, I recently noticed that I had not been getting the 4c fuel discount. As it turned out, I had been automatically logged out of my account and hadn’t noticed. So I would get fuel and go in to pay, scan the barcode and proceed back to my car, have a look at the receipt and see no discount has been applied. Now I understand that if I am not logged into my account then I don’t get the discount. What I don’t understand is, if I am not logged in to my account, why does the app provide a discount barcode? Or at least warm me that I am not logged into my account! It’s a minor issue but frustrating none the less.

Tepid AFL fan review
Only a semi engaged AFL follower, but I have to say, this app is top notch. Polished, with things like lock screen updates and genuinely seemingly polished internal news and operations. Genuinely impressed considering the amount of slop out there these days. Good on you AFL!

This app helps me look at who is winning if I’m not bothered to watch the actual game. The ladder is always keeping me updated.

I can’t open app it directs me to update but that’s not happening.
Video doesn’t work on iPad
When using it on an iPad, every video opens and plays the audio only while displaying a completely black screen, this is a recent development only been doing it about 2 weeks now, at first it wasn’t every video, now it is, it used to be a great app, now it’s only good for scores and articles, video may as well not be there for an iPad user. I’ve tried uninstalling and restarting and checking for updates and all the rest, it’s consistently won’t display video content

Painfully slow to open
Click on the app and wait 2 to 3 minutes. Just load. It is too heavy.
Location name are what?
All the names of the locations of the games are written in aboriginal. I get that we are trying to be woke, I like being woke. But I genuinely don’t know where these locations are!! Maybe you could have a translate button or a setting to change the language?

Love that sports betting odds can be turned off. But needs to allow dark theme as the UI is bright and busy and hard on the eyes. The Footy Live app does that aspect much better.
CarPlay (please)
A great app but would love there to be a CarPlay feature that showed the live scores and game time. Yes, of course you can listen to the radio but sometimes Gabby’s Dollhouse or Frozen take precedence and this means I’m stuck guessing the score. How good would it be to have the AFL app showing the live scores? AFL fans of young children: Thank me later!
