About
Developed for the students of Adana Fen Lisesi, AFL Turnuva runs a Swiss-system chess tournament from your phone or iPad — from the entry list to the final standings.
ENTERING PLAYERS IS ONE LIST
Type or paste the names, one per line. That is the whole entry process.
Ratings, titles and clubs are optional and can be added later.
PAIRING
Rounds are paired automatically using the Swiss system: score brackets, top-half against bottom-half, no rematches, and colour balancing that works to alternate every player's colour from round to round. An odd field is handled with a full-point bye; half-point and zero-point byes can be given by hand.
RUNNING THE ROUND
Enter results as they come in. The round tells you what is still outstanding and ends with an explicit confirmation, so you always know what to do next. Late entries and withdrawals are handled mid-event — a withdrawn player keeps their results and their place in the standings.
STANDINGS
Buchholz, Buchholz Cut-1, Sonneborn-Berger, progressive score, direct encounter and number of wins, with shared ranks where players are level.
ON PAPER
Export the entry list, the pairing sheets and the standings as PDF, and print or share them. A pairing sheet for an unplayed round prints with an empty result column so it can go on the wall and come back written on.
TURKISH AND ENGLISH
Fully localised, including chess terminology.
PRIVATE BY DESIGN
Everything stays on your device. No account, no sign-in, no analytics, no network connection of any kind.
A NOTE ON PAIRING
The pairing engine implements the Swiss system at club strength. It is not a full FIDE Dutch (C.04.3) implementation and is not intended for submitting FIDE-rated events.
