Top Quality Afro Latin Sounds
All Lumbeat drum apps have superb drum sounds and an excellent sequencer that help create extremely realistic rhythms and beats. Afro Latin Percussion Machine is definitely one of my favourites
Like no other!
I've been able to find grooves with playable fills and timings with this app like no other drum machines I use - many of which are in popular DAW's. Keep up the great work, guys!
Answered prayer!
I’m Finding some rhythms to complement ethnically-inspired music performance.
Thank you.
Maybe someday I can learn how to use this for Salsa, Bossa, Samba, and old time bolero and tango would be nice.

Remarkable!
As complex as it is, it’s easy to use. The beats a sounds are instantly inspiring. I have zero complaints and only one request. Add the ability to follow any given track and adjust to its rhythm, like the Smart Drums in GarageBand. Thats it. Add this feature to Pop Drummer and all you AUV3 and make an excellent product even better. With all sincerity this is a premium product.

Afro Latin Drum Machine
I’ve been after a piece of kit or some kind of guide to help me grasp the style of rhythm. I think this is just the ticket!
Response from developer

Just noticed the new update!
thanks for constantly upgrading your apps to keep up with your newer apps. But can you PLEAAAAASE add the swing options from Hip Hop drummer to Funk drummer?? Or just an update that brings it up to speed like this one? I love all your apps and Funk Drummer is the only one that struggles to keep up! Thank you for your hard work!

Just in case
There is no manual, there is no support and it has problems with sync.
Good but...
I have a couple of their other apps. Soft Drummer and Jazz Drummer. Those have a very naturalistic sounding drum set and works well in performance. This one, the AfroLatin, however, sounds clumpy and harsh. The congas are way to heavy as are the other batteries of drums. The samples are hard and lack the natural dynamics of the other apps they make or of other makers apps. The rhythms and styles are very well programmed but the result is quite robotic.

MIDI Sync instabil
Leider funktionierte es bei mir nicht, die App mit einer externen MIDI Clock vernünftig zu synchronisieren. Nach 8 Takten läuft die Clock raus und nichts mehr ist synchron. Unbrauchbar! Hersteller antwortet nicht auf Support Mails.
Great
Great app thank you
Needs to have export function
I do love the beats in this App but am disappointed that there is no way to share it to Logic Pro x on my Mac. Bummer😵💫
For the most part really decent, just some slight pet peeves
The app is really versatile a good 80% of the time and a lot of beats are easily achievable. One thing I noticed however, is the clear lack of cymbals and hi hats from the sound selection. Sometimes I want to make a cumbia song that requires there be an open high hat to be played in the off beat, but since theres no sound for that theres no way to recreate the sound. I know there’s a latin drummer option in the jazz/other drum apps but it makes no sense that you couldn’t just play this alongside the unique instruments found here instead of having to mix and match every time. Not to mention that the brazilian drum app has a drum kit itself
Aside from this, and from some glitches where the song just doesn’t save properly and whole sections are left wiped with no way of fixing it etc. this app does its job pretty well, pretty good stuff.

Alter!
Love the app
My only problem with this app is that there should definitely be a tutorial with it or notes explaining all the functions
All of these apps are great!
THANK YOU!
What an excellent piece of gear!
Highly functional and usable.

Not as complete as other Lumbeat products
Everything is great, but I am disappointed that midi control for live pad control is grayed out and does not work like other Lumbeat apps. Also, it appears you cannot export midi file like other Lumbeat products. Otherwise I would have given it 5 stars
