Great App But Annoying AF

I have been asked a total of 10 times since opening the app to leave a review. I already had to spend money to use the app, then to be asked so incessantly to leave a perfect review when I have BARELY used your app. Annoying enough to make this review negative.

Good but

Great app, just keep in mind it changes the orientation often, for example mine was changed to landscape even though it doesn’t seem like it. This makes it difficult to upload the photo to certain places (LinkedIn Profile Pic for me). Easy enough fix though, just edit it in preview (Mac) and hit tools, then change the size to even dimensions.

I like using this app because it allows you to remove backgrounds, edit and add images.There are different tools you can use to enhance your photos as well. I would definitely recommend downloading this app.

Forces you to take the tour

I hate apps that force you to follow some kind of “how to use this” tour. It’s fine to offer guidance to new users, but give the option to skip it!

If you’re using this on a Mac, just know that you cannot resize the window. The UI just feels clumsy. I guess that’s the nature of an app that works on macOS and iOS?

Further, as another reviewer mentioned, the primary function of removing a background requires payment up-front — no ability to try it first. Of course, there is a manual background remover, but I found that it’s nothing more than an eraser that removed anything it touches, so it’s useless.
