Plane mode problem

When offline, the diary would open, but scanning a new meal didn’t work

costs too much

Price is too high for me. I’ll keep it for now.

Fast Logging

I’ve used FoodAmigo at home, at the gym, and during a couple of trips. Logging is fast, and my steps sync over from Apple Health. The trouble came on a plane. The diary opened, but it wouldn’t identify dinner without a connection, so I ended up entering it later. The subscription also seems steep since I mostly rely on the food diary and weight history. I’m sticking with it because I’m finally logging more than two days in a row. If offline recognition existed, I’d probably give it five stars.
