This app was working fine and II loved it. Now, out of the sudden for the past week it kept saying something went wrong, please try later. It’s not serving me any purpose right now while I’m on a yearly subscription.

My friend, who can’t write well, asked me to download this app so she could show me something she thought was cool. That was in July - I never returned to the app afterwards.
Getting into the app was really easy and I don’t remember clicking to many buttons or seeing anything about a subscription before getting to the interface.
The beginning of September, I was going over my finances and listing out my subscriptions when I noticed this app on the list.
Since July, I’ve been paying $9.99 for this app.
That made me very mad but I figured it was my fault. I cancelled the subscription.
They still charged me AFTER I cancelled. Here’s why … and this is where it’s proven this is an unethical bunch of people -
They don’t charge the way every other app charges. They charge you the week after.
So when I cancelled the subscription, they were still able to take another week because they charge you AFTER, not before. Most apps charge before you use so if you cancel, you won’t have an upcoming payment.
These jerks charge you AFTER. Additionally, no AI app is worth $9.99 a week. ChatGPT, who their app is probably built off of is free. Anyone can get AI to write their emails, whoever thought of this is playing on people who struggle with literacy which is fine, but not making it clear that you’re subscribing to something, price gouging, and weird billing practices is way too much.
