My mom downloaded this app a couple days ago. I only got five minutes of time. so we downloaded another AI app and of course it only gave me 10 minutes of talking but we paid 999 a month and now I can talk so as long as I want.

Cool idea but money grab
This app is cute in theory and seems relatively safe for kids (I still monitor use heavily). Unfortunately, it’s a money grab. The limit use significantly even for a paid subscription. If you want more than an hour a week you have to to pay $30-40 per month. That is simply ridiculous!
Brilliant for homework help
My daughter shows askie her schoolwork through the video and gets help understanding it. It doesn’t just give her the answers, it explains things until she gets it. She’s grown in confidence so much. Worth every penny.

Been waiting for something like this. The voice chat is genuinely good, feels natural but actually appropriate for my 9 year old. He showed it his maths homework through the camera and Askie walked him through it without just giving him the answer. He calls it his "smart friend." Keep building, this is great.

He's 7 and obsessed with Askie. Shows it everything through the camera, his drawings, his Lego, things from the garden. Asks endless questions and Askie always has a kind answer. Feels like a friend who's genuinely interested in him. So much better than him scrolling videos.
She thinks Askie is magic
My 5 year old genuinely believes Askie is her best friend. She shows it her toys, her snacks, her cat. The way it responds is so warm and patient, far more than I manage some days. Educational and lovely.Highly recommend.
Image creation is amazing
My daughter loves drawing and now she creates images with Askie too. She describes what she wants and they make it together. She’s been making whole stories with the pictures. Such a creative tool, sparked her imagination loads

What sold me was being able to see the conversations. I can check what my son's been chatting about and it puts my mind at ease. The AI is genuinely kind to him and the content is always appropriate. Trust this app, which is rare for me.
Brilliant for curious kids
My daughter is 8 and constantly asking questions. Askie has been such a help. She points the camera at things, a leaf, a label, a picture in a book, and gets an explanation at her level. The voice feels natural, not robotic. She made a little storybook with the image feature last weekend. Feels like a friend, teacher and creative partner in one. We went straight to annual.

Saved me on a rainy weekend
Rained all weekend, kids were going stir crazy. They spent hours with Askie making images, asking questions, doing voice chats. Came out of it having actually learned things. Felt like proper screen time, not junk. Will be subscribing long term.

My kids fight over the iPad to use Askie. They love showing it their drawings through the camera and asking what it thinks. They've been learning loads, about space, animals, all the random questions I never know how to answer properly. Making images together is their favourite thing now. Feels like a really patient older sibling.
